These balls rolling off the greens really make you appreciate how these courses are infinitely more difficult than anything most people play
Yeah its crazy, the ball pretty much stops ... then it proceeds to run 20 feet outside the green ..
you have to be so incredibly precise like it would take me hundreds of attempts to even stay on the green
I watch these things to make myself feel okay
Makes us feel like a 92 is a good score.

These greens are ridiculous. A shank is one thing, but to have a ball roll into water when you really didn't play that bad a shot is just absurd.
Shots like these makes us average golfers feel pretty good.

You never see this on tv but this is the real golf experience
When seeing that ball roll out of nowhere in some of these shots, I just think of the quote that Bill Murray said: "IT IS ALIVE!" From space jam lol
Many of these aren't super terrible shots at all, the courses are just set up this difficult. These guys would shred a municipal course on their worst days.

7:15-8:00 Excuse me...trying to look for my ball...this is golf
These guys make golf much harder than it has to be.
1) If you can hit your tee shot onto the green (par 3 or short par 4) then you should do that.
2) If you can't do 1) then hit your tee shot into the fairway.
3) Hit your next shot onto the green if you can. If not (long par 5) then hit your next shot also into the fairway.
4) If you can hit your ball into the hole from the tee or fairway then you should do that.
5) Once your ball is on the green then you should go ahead and putt it into the hole.
Simple.
There's no excuse for a score higher than the 50's.

Why do they have these island holes?
These are the shots not mentioned everytime someone asks me how my golf day was.
The balls that roll off the green happen in less than thirty five feet or the down grain of everything else easily with the correct number of 14 and 15.
I would never be able to finish that course with the green on the water

What happened to Viktor Hovland at the end of the video was really bad. He had a difficult lie on his first shot, then he went into the bunker and back again in the forest. Talk about a bad day on the course.
Remember even pros have bad shots that lead to worse shots. Just because you have a bad hole doesn’t mean you can’t birdie the next.

These are pro courses though, every single shot these guys are struggling on, are like 100% harder than what a normal difficult course is for an amateur
