This is the best referee I’ve seen on the channel, very professional, spot on with every decision, no hesitation.

Very good referee but you can see why many referees decide to call it a day when they constantly cop the abuse from over-emotional players. Our local federation as just announced an increase of ref payments, for 2023, by nearly double that of the season just passed. Their attempt at getting new refs and retaining the experienced refs.
I usually tell myself I am not in it for the money. My hobby pays for itself. However, with games like this, makes me reconsider my past time!
The referee gave a top-notch performance.

Figures, it was a blue team supporter, and they were the only ones doing dirty tackles, but the bias is too strong.
The referee should have told the blue captain "your player, who I sent off, has about 30 seconds to leave the area or the game is done"
The blue team was winning at that point. What happens? What do the rules say.

The referee turns the game sheet and report to the league. The league then decides what happens.

I have referee in a couple of men's league that fined players $50 for every yellow and $100 for a red.
Giving exact seconds is dumb because they will challenge the ref and he will feel threatened.

Yeah he got the red for abuse of official under no circumstances you can't touch the ref in a aggressive manner, it did seem soft but at the sametime he started getting aggressive when he received the yellow so.
The first yellow card on Blue #6. The term "all ball" must be a language barrier, cause he wasnt even close to any ball and it was behind.

When Simba FC weren't whining about everything they played pretty decently.
No, they lack so much skill they have to treat the game like its a rugby game. Most of there players are completely unhinged and have no self control. Any decent team would of crushed them and they know that, considering the almost tied a trash team.

agree with all the comments about great refereeing.
on national events been told twice by different assessors/ref coaches that try to keep foul counts fair and similar. which is so stupid. this game is the great example. not all the fouls are cautinable and not all the touches are the fouls.

Blue team is the definition of escalating. Black team had almost all clean tackles, but blue team feels cheates by ref and tackles back tenfold. Then continue to complain about ref playing favorites.
Blue was cheated from a penalty tho, that studs first tackle was reckless, but all their shenanigans leading up to that play probably makes a ref more likely to believe blue player was diving.

You boys out there in Canada play some kinda style.. it’s almost like rugby but still football/soccer and you can thank the refs when things get rowdy they shouldn’t let players use there arms like I’ve seen on much of these clips. And Im not hating im just sayin a bit different than of Europe like Spain, England and even in the US and Mexico. I almost immediately knew this was different.
If I had to hate on one thing is the fact y’all got like 10 cameras, one for every angle on the pitch which i think is pretty dope but hating because we only have maybe one or 2 that’s it lol.. unless it’s a big final there’s maybe 3 😅
simba blaming tyhe ref was absurd.. every card was justified, especially the red ALSO their goalie is good with ground shots he is too short for high shots.. BUT good job for keeping up with the other team minus one player RESPECT

Should have ended in a draw. Blue was annoying af and black was the most unskilled team I’ve ever seen in my life. Neither deserved a win. Ref did well though.

There is no yellow team. There is a black with yellow team and a blue with yellow team. They are both not good so maybe it does not matter.

The lunging challenge inside the penalty area at 23:15 is a fouls against black. This is very reckless, a definite yellow and possible red for how he came down near the ankle

You can't hear much of any talking on the field because of the 'coaches' on the fan side. Every time they get a foul, "must be a yellow".
