It is 03 in the morning and i intended to sleep then I came across this channel. ADDICTIVE. i love the positivity. This is the Africa i want to learn about and not the " corrupt war torn" Africa depicted in international news.
You need to know everything - war-torn as well as hopeful. An Igbo adage says that "a man who does not know where the rain began to beat him, cannot say where he dried his body." Everything is important.
Corruption is a big problem but so are country borders. Colonizers just drew random lines that benefited them and often these lines went through ethnic groups, leading to countries with a serious lack of identity and "togetherness" which is why you get things like the Rwandan Genocide. It's like if someone decided that france and germany should both be cut in half vertically and then both those halves were joined together so you had two countries that were half french and half german. Nothing would get done, there would be incredible tension and instead of helping the country as a whole, elected leaders would just try to gain power over the other group of people. I think being able to have gone through all this and still have most of the world's fastest growing GDP's really is something to be proud of.
There is important information left out for Tunisia, it's actually from Tunisia that the continent got its name, in fact, Tunisia's name was Ifrikiya which is Africa in Latin.
Nigeria is a beautiful country currently going through difficult times at the hands of our leaders. This is one of the hardest times in Nigeria but we shall overcome. #PrayForNigeria 🇳🇬

Keep up the good work, so educative and am glad you are showing the positive side of the continent, am tired of people making Africa look like a poverty-stricken-village.
