- Chickpea Breadcrumbs made with no oil. So easy. Only one ingredient! I know you can buy chickpea breadcrumbs with no oil, but why? These chickpea breadcrumbs are so easy to make. Here is what you will need to make these quick and easy no oil chickpea breadcrumbs:
Ingredients
One can of chickpeas rinsed and drained.
Instructions
Place chickpeas into a food processor and pulse a few times to get a rough chop. Place chickpeas on a lined baking sheet and spread out into a single layer and bake in a preheated oven @ 350 degrees for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes take chickpeas out of oven and let cool for a few minutes. Place the chickpeas back into the food processor and pulse again until you get the desired consistency. Then bake into the oven for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes turn the oven off and let the chickpeas sit in the oven for another 30 minutes. Store in an airtight jar.

@@ChewonVegan Sorry - - I've edited my comment. I realized that the word muted has a completely different meaning from what I meant. I can hear it but the sound is low volume and a little bit echoey. I played it on two different devices to the same result and I'm not having trouble hearing any other TH-cams. It's a bit of a strain to listen to without earphones and intentionally turning up the volume. I thought you might want to know because there may be a problem with your recording method. Good luck.

Can you toast them in the air fryer vs the oven?
I don't know, maybe, I'll have to try it.
It should work though.
I have roasted chickpeas in the air fryer before so I'm assuming it would work with this too. I wouldn't put it in the food processor until after its first roasted in the air fryer because it'll be too many small pieces.
