Sure it has amazing potential to teach and dissect the human condition, but not as if it were reality. Plato and all the other philosophers just talked about things that they were trying to understand and understood. I just need to see if I can replicate the teachings of the philosophers through quantitative analysis.
I sat and enjoyed Cliffe Knechtle in 1983 on Chico State Campus. He drew a crows of hundreds of people out on the grass and delivered structural witnessing logic that I use today. He has a great book out, "Give me and answer." Bought it back then and have it on my shelf behind me. Praise the Lord for evangelists like Cliffe!

I was a Christian since birth around my 30 i have nothing to do with Christ. 4 years ago i was born again. I study Bible regularly at Sunday school WOW WOW the Bible is so deep I learned so much the history, events the beginning of everything in life.

It wasn't a good point. He just rephrased William Paley's watchmaker analogy, which is simply an admission of scientific ignorance. It's an argument that's been refuted many times over, and it relies on the limits of human understanding to invoke a god, who is also supposed to be beyond our understanding, thus we can't assert a deity.

Even though you are right, Cliff has done this for decades and he doesn't get everything right because he's not perfect either, but being on college campuses as he is he does bring up just what you said numerous times but a lot of times the kids are interested in philosophy or discussing it out as if it's a.m. debate or thinking exercise that trying to say it so if you just give him the facts of scripture which is absolutely true of the Gospel Noah may they be turned off too quickly but their brains don't function that way see you try to leave him in with the philosophy but especially with the critical thinking and then they can be moved towards the direct thinking of the gospels and its message.

He paid the debt for our sins, he died for us, it should have been each of us on that cross. He died for our sins past present and future although some will argue with that, it’s grace. Believe, repent is a change of mind in the original language. Believe, and you WILL be saved. That’s all you need to do is believe. The gospel is in Corinthians. He gave us a gift we do not deserve and he will not snatch it away. Once you are saved there is no snatching you from his hand. I hope this helps someone out there

Too many Bible "stories" in church and "the culture says so" nonsense; too little critical thinking and too often, virtually no apologetic. Thankfully, the Church seems to be waking up. I guess at the time it was just meant that it was important to keep one day of the week aside to worship God. There is the famous story in the Old Testament of the man gathering sticks on the sabbath, and he was stoned to death. But that's a whole other can of worms. Every one chooses their god. Their god can be themselves or the money or...etc. but in the end they find a god to follow. GOD is who we should look to and follow. He who is divine. He who provided us a path to an everlasting life.

You missed the point. The point was simple. Something doesn't come from nothing. If the universe and all life exists. . . however it began. . . .it had a cause. He is just trying to get people to step one. . . "Does God exist?" Either it's yes. . . .we can logically conclude there was an intelligent driving force and cause. . . then by all logical and deductive reasoning we can conclude there is a God. The only other option you have is to throw all logic and I mean all reason out the door and recognize there is no purpose, no design, and no objective outside your biological existence to suggest any meaning. It means nothing, there is no right and wrong. It's all just individual subjective perspectives. Cause effect proves there is a God and a designer / creator and life has meaning and objective truth. or 2. You and everyone else is an evolved random meaningless blob of cells without any measurable or standard for reality or existence. Isn't everyone on the planet a person of color. People have colors upon their bodies that can be descriptive of their physical appearance. These terms colored people, negro, yellowman, redman, black, Afro American, African American and circling back now to people of color..... All imply that you are measuring people as Northern European "white" and not Northern European. Why should that be the measure. It implies one is normal, not really needing description, and the other is bizarre or "different" or those people. To use such terms you are not seeing things from your POV as my family is what I see as normal and other people are different. Instead seeing yourself as different from some idealized normal. Any other family that doesn't fit the normal description is lumped in as collectively different. The only thing we all share is that we are not the normal "white folk" These terms can be juggled as much as one likes, but they are all pan bizarre. It would make more existential since if you are, Michelle Obama to say, those non dark complexion people next door in Martha's Vineyard are all "people of color" or "colored people" since they look different from myself, my daughters and husband... What does "God reveals himself in the Bible" mean? Like, you just understand his love and personality? Or you start seeing images of him in the pages? You start hearing things out of the book? As a matter of fact I couldn't eat, I felt hopeless, I thought there was no meaning to life, family, friends, nothing. So much so it hurt my wife, but she with authority told me I NEEDED to get up. At the same time she also asked "How could someone like you, (I was called to be an evangelist for the Glory of God), who preached, etc. Not believe? I didn't know how. I mean, I saw people get healed, God used me to heal people, I've seen demons casted out... why was I doubting? It took me a while but I like you couldn't give up. I started praying and praying and praying and I felt.... Nothing at times. Well the I asked God to let me see a miracle, I did... still so much doubt. But you know what I didn't do? Give up, I knew my God was real. I knew he loved me. He showed me, I've seen too much no matter how BIG the doubt was screaming in my mind.... I didn't stop praying. I asked for prayer and kept going. Until God let me feel him again, let me experience him again. He showed me how awful life was without him and it got me closer to him. I had to learn that faith wasn't a power that we try to believe and God will show up. Faith is believing He will. Don't ever give up, and watch what kind of relationship that will open for you and God. The anxiety I was feeling, I would feel literally weight being taken out of my heart. My life had hope and purpose again. And I got closer to my God, to our God! Glory to him! I was away, I decided not to go to Church and to indulge in sin. And through adversity and doubt, I actually ended up falling in love again with my Creator. Don't be afraid. Give all your worries to the Lord. Sure it has amazing potential to teach and dissect the human condition, but not as if it were reality. Plato and all the other philosophers just talked about things that they were trying to understand and understood. I just need to see if I can replicate the teachings of the philosophers through quantitative analysis.
I sat and enjoyed Cliffe Knechtle in 1983 on Chico State Campus. He drew a crows of hundreds of people out on the grass and delivered structural witnessing logic that I use today. It wasn't a good point. He just rephrased William Paley's watchmaker analogy, which is simply an admission of scientific ignorance. It's an argument that's been refuted many times over, and it relies on the limits of human understanding to invoke a god, who is also supposed to be beyond our understanding, thus we can't assert a deity.

Even though you are right, Cliff has done this for decades and he doesn't get everything right because he's not perfect either, but being on college campuses as he is he does bring up just what you said numerous times but a lot of times the kids are interested in philosophy or discussing it out as if it's a.m. debate or thinking exercise that trying to say it so if you just give him the facts of scripture which is absolutely true of the Gospel Noah may they be turned off too quickly but their brains don't function that way see you try to leave him in with the philosophy but especially with the critical thinking and then they can be moved towards the direct thinking of the gospels and its message.

He paid the debt for our sins, he died for us, it should have been each of us on that cross. He died for our sins past present and future although some will argue with that, it’s grace. Believe, repent is a change of mind in the original language. Believe, and you WILL be saved. That’s all you need to do is believe. The gospel is in Corinthians. He gave us a gift we do not deserve and he will not snatch it away. Once you are saved there is no snatching you from his hand. I hope this helps someone out there

Generally, any time you try to get down to brass-tacks you discover that most folks (including believers) take so much for granted and simply can't give good reasons for what they believe about anything. Too many Bible "stories" in church and "the culture says so" nonsense; too little critical thinking and too often, virtually no apologetic. Thankfully, the Church seems to be waking up. Does that 1st commandment not sound logical and sane to you? .. this is the point I'm making, .. you'd think that it *would* be a commandment from God, but it's *not* . If you were going to write a list of things that mankind should/should not do to one another, does it not sound reasonable to ensure that mankind should not own and enslave other people as their property. Especially knowing how mankind have treated other people as their own property.. to do with as they wish.

Clearly keeping the Sabbath is not a moral question as such, it's very much open to question depending on your faith whether or not you regard saturday as the sabbath or sunday? .. I guess at the time it was just meant that it was important to keep one day of the week aside to worship God. There is the famous story in the Old Testament of the man gathering sticks on the sabbath, and he was stoned to death. But that's a whole other can of worms.

Every one chooses their god. Their god can be themselves or the money or...etc. but in the end they find a god to follow. GOD is who we should look to and follow. He who is divine. He who provided us a path to an everlasting life.

8:40 to me is a prime example of people falling into the belief of knowledge . Yes we know the cause of Mount Rushmore but we to act as if we fully know the cause of the universe based on the Big Bang theory is odd. The great architect (GOD) is not some simple thing to understand. Pastor is trying to deploy the idea that without the knowledge of the creation of Mount Rushmore we may draw conclusions that are totally false because the cause is so abstract . You missed the point. The point was simple. Something doesn't come from nothing. If the universe and all life exists. . . however it began. . . .it had a cause. He is just trying to get people to step one. . . "Does God exist?" Either it's yes. . . .we can logically conclude there was an intelligent driving force and cause. . . then by all logical and deductive reasoning we can conclude there is a God. The only other option you have is to throw all logic and I mean all reason out the door and recognize there is no purpose, no design, and no objective outside your biological existence to suggest any meaning. And the next time something happens bad in your life. . . .such as you find that your car was keyed or something to that nature. . . you only have one logical response. It means nothing, there is no right and wrong. It's all just individual subjective perspectives. Go you way and find out how to indulge in as much biologically felt pleasure and take no interest in other people. Because there is no cause and effect and reason has no foundation. --- So, there is only two choices. 1. Cause effect proves there is a God and a designer / creator and life has meaning and objective truth. or 2. You and everyone else is an evolved random meaningless blob of cells without any measurable or standard for reality or existence. Romans 1:28 (amplified version) And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God or consider Him worth knowing [as their Creator], God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do things which are improper and repulsive, ------ The bottom line is, each one of us will give an account for our lives before the Living God. Justice is a thing. And apart from Jesus Christ payment for sin there is no just payment for your sin. Rejecting Jesus Christ by faith and accepting Him as Lord is the only way out of your terminal situation. Judgement will come. You have a choice.

Jesus from the description of the Bible. Is what most would call a man of color. Just as Solomon and other people of the Bible. Back then I think there was more cultural differences than race issues. In those regions tan, brown and black was the norm.
Isn't everyone on the planet a person of color. People have colors upon their bodies that can be descriptive of their physical appearance.
These terms colored people, negro, yellowman, redman, black, Afro American, African American and circling back now to people of color.....
All imply that you are measuring people as Northern European "white" and not Northern European. Why should that be the measure. It implies one is normal, not really needing description, and the other is bizarre or "different" or those people.
To use such terms you are not seeing things from your POV as my family is what I see as normal and other people are different. Instead seeing yourself as different from some idealized normal. Any other family that doesn't fit the normal description is lumped in as collectively different. The only thing we all share is that we are not the normal "white folk"
These terms can be juggled as much as one likes, but they are all pan bizarre. It would make more existential since if you are, Michelle Obama to say, those non dark complexion people next door in Martha's Vineyard are all "people of color" or "colored people" since they look different from myself, my daughters and husband... When the police arrive they want a description of the suspect. Black male/white male etc. Those are just the terms people use without getting to deep. It has been stated that Africa as a continent has a very diverse DNA makeup. Basically if every other place except the continent we’re to die off. We can know for certain all these things that we have observed happened and make conclusions and theories about them but we are left with only relying on Hope until death.
Moses, who had first hand knowledge and perspective of God's power died with full knowledge and understanding he would die and be saved and that there's an after life after death because he literally split the sea with God and saw Him in a bush on fire and spoke to him.

I have panic attacks most nights thinking of death and being scared of losing my consciousness and memories and ability to think and feel loved and love... which also makes me feel like nothing matters so long as I don't bring upon anything bad into the world. I believe,

As a matter of fact I couldn't eat, I felt hopeless, I thought there was no meaning to life, family, friends, nothing. So much so it hurt my wife, but she with authority told me I NEEDED to get up. At the same time she also asked "How could someone like you, (I was called to be an evangelist for the Glory of God), who preached, etc. Not believe? I didn't know how. I mean, I saw people get healed, God used me to heal people, I've seen demons casted out... why was I doubting? It took me a while but I like you couldn't give up. I started praying and praying and praying and I felt.... Nothing at times. Well the I asked God to let me see a miracle, I did... still so much doubt. But you know what I didn't do? Give up, I knew my God was real. I knew he loved me. He showed me, I've seen too much no matter how BIG the doubt was screaming in my mind.... I didn't stop praying. I asked for prayer and kept going. Until God let me feel him again, let me experience him again. He showed me how awful life was without him and it got me closer to him. I had to learn that faith wasn't a power that we try to believe and God will show up. Faith is believing He will. Don't ever give up, and watch what kind of relationship that will open for you and God. The anxiety I was feeling, I would feel literally weight being taken out of my heart. My life had hope and purpose again. And I got closer to my God, to our God! Glory to him! I was away, I decided not to go to Church and to indulge in sin. And through adversity and doubt, I actually ended up falling in love again with my Creator. Don't be afraid. Give all your worries to the Lord. I'll leave you with this verse my wife left me with: Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Take a deep breath and understand God loves you he knows your pain and your confusion and knows everything about you he knows every hair on your head or the lack thereof hitting on your situation because I'm bald, but my point Aesop's Fables very clear about God's love and taking care of you both now and when you die the Bible is very clear what happens when you die a lot of scriptures in describing you don't go directly to heaven when you die you sleep and it is clear in the Bible when Christ comes bring his living and dead in Christ home then you'll be in heaven until then death is like a sleep the dead know nothing they have no suffering no pain no dream nothing but when Christ comes in the blink of an eye you're open and you'll see him and you'll feel the glory from him and you'll be able to go to heaven and rain with him it goes on from there.
