    One cool little detail was how the center entertainment display’s outer ring showed a lighted arch that flowed like a neon tachometer when you floored it.

    We have a Mini S 2 door with a US port of entry JCW power upgrade. Fully loaded, w/adaptable suspension of the S (not on a JCW). Also has Bluetooth exhaust which adds power in track mode, reduces back pressure. Funny thing…. In Eco mode, gets over 42mpg on highway, 32 in town average over several thousand miles. Drives like go-cart around corners. One of our favorite cars. Especially these days. We added various trim add ons, and checkerboard wrap over the moonroof. Many thumbs up from a variety of people.
    Another family member has a Clubman S. AWD, 8speed auto. Driving normal, feels like the much smaller two door. However, pressed to limit, it feels it’s added weight. And MPG is in mid 20s, maybe 30-32 on highway. The added weight, plus AWD hurts the mpg compared to the two door. It is very practical. Lots of space to haul all kinds of thing anywhere in style and cool handling.
    The mini seats in both are made for North Carolina Dragon tour, and thousand of miles of long distance driving.
    We have had no issues with either Mini. Only preventative maintenance.
    There are all kinds of Easter egg features no other vehicle has. Too many to list here. We all love the programmable interior accent lighting, to name one. OH! Get this! Depending on the package , our two door has a GPS learning feature that is so cool. It knows the roads, and will change the gears like a manual automatically. When you come up on a curve, or roundabout, when you naturally get ready, the Mini will downshift knowing where you are on the road. It knows exactly the right gear to pick. Just keep the maps updated, you are good to go when they convert intersections to round a bouts. Really fun thing to have as a driving experience. Again, many more cool features to name them all.
    Side note.. our two door optioned as is, top speed ranges between 148-153 stable, drive with one finger (people never do) stable.

    I have a 2021 Countryman JCW (same platform as this Clubbie) and I really enjoy it as my daily. It's fun to drive but also plenty comfortable and practical. The motor is so strong and I enjoy merging onto the highway every day because of the way it pulls. Thanks for the review, guys!

    Had mine for almost three years now, brilliant car. The acceleration is very quick indeed and the all4 system makes the car corner like it’s on rails.
    If I were to recommend some options for this car they would be, the head up display, adaptive dampers and the matrix led headlights.
    I have pretty much all the options but those are the ones which make so much difference to the car.
    I’m on my 4th Mini and this car tops the lot, much faster and more powerful than my previous JCW hatch.

    Love my 22 Countryman JCW. The Clubman looks great but the barn doors and ground clearance were a deal breaker for me. I think this car would impress people if they could find one to test drive! As Roman said, I’ve only seen one other Countryman JCW in my town so the unique/rare factor is also there.

    • @chrisss73841
      @chrisss73841 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pretty much any new car has abysmal ground clearance compared to cars from 10 years ago. If you don't want to scrape at every driveway or intersection you pretty much have to buy a crossover to get over 6" of clearance.

    i've never owned a Mini or wanted a Mini before until my wife says she likes them and we picked up a 2019 Countryman S Yin-Yang Edition for her. I really enjoyed the car and started some of the upgrades to freshen the interior bits to the the newest model years. most importantly i was able to retrofitted the sport mode selection toggle. I wish we've gotten the all4 version, but the one we picked up was at the right price with low mileage back in March and we live in Los Angeles, so the all4 isn't really needed.

    Currently drive a 2015 R57 jcw as my daily driver since 2016 with literally zero problems. The jcw clubman will be my next. I honestly want to just keep the convertible for fun, but might have to downgrade to a basic mini non s , non jcw because I drive it like a madman and the convertible factor is what makes it so spicy.

    It's funny. I agree about the steering. I have had three Minis from 2015 all the way to 2023 and the steering is heavy (similar to the 2012 Volvo S60 I had). I also have a BMW 2015 328 wagon and I have to say the steering is lighter in the BMW and that makes the car a little more fun to drive. Still love the Mini!

    I have one with top trim with two tone interior (white) with the fancy jcw wheels and it’s a head turner. Mine has red strips on hood and doors. So many comments/likes for under a 50k car. Got mine used for 42k and they are very few of theses running around. It’s a blast to drive. Very fast and quick and just great IMO. Also I am getting 36 a gallon on green setting when you want to maximize fuel. I agree that more people would buy this if they could find one to test drive…
