Even if it's not a long term home, resale value goes up if you have a good private bass fishery! You could get some shiners from Shiner Sam, if you're close enough. There's a video in itself! My cousin’s pond was like that we took a got a few pond rakes and use winches to clean it out took us about a month but now it is a great fishing spot.. Yall stay safe and Keep’em coming
Something I tried for summer pond hopping… my wacky rig was too big for some of the fish, and they lost interest, so I just switched my 5” worm to a ned worm. Caught so many little bass. Even caught a 3 pounder. My new favorite pond hopping bait is a wacky rigged ned worm

I still have an Abu Garcia that was made in 1972 the year I was born that he sent me out of the blue for scanning some pictures and sending them to him to use on his WebTV page.
