- Hi everyone, in this Shaco guide I go over a game showcasing all the strategies I use to carry, adapting in real time to counter the enemy team’s actions, i.e., tracking the enemy jungler, securing all objectives proper positioning & flanking, team fighting and creating map pressure to ensure a quick victory.
Also, I mention how the Buff will affect Shaco and what the new best Build & Items are that give you the ability to fight and solo carry.
Less editing in this one, more commentary, sort of a gameplay anatomy for Shaco, I hope you guys enjoyed the style.

Bork just seems like a must-build item on EVERY champion that can build it effectively. it's damage output is frankly insane.
Yup, especially since with Hob you can do 3 fast attacks to proc its second passive

Ive found alot of sucess with the veigarv2 build going umbral into yomuus / eclipse into prowlers, gives very good early spikes, specially into squishy teams

Hail of blades "bug" is why I run BoTRK on shaco, your clone can just tank bust for you while you kite lol! I am not sure if it is a bug or not, I hope it isn't something they plan on fixing because it really helps out his ulti go from meh, to be amazing on AD shaco
Give this build a try while snowballing on kills, collector > botrk > eclipse > LDR if they have high hp targets/GA if damage is fine/lethality if you need more burst or need the spell shield or need to break shields.
I've been running it for a while and no other build has felt as good at all points of the game, it feels more versatile leaving 2 open item slots for whatever you want. Provides high % damage and high % and flat armor pen, and because it isn't a crit build you pick up more cdr.
as mentioned earlier, I use this build and just have my clone deal with tanks, while I myself can usually burst down squishies or fighters.
Your time to kill goes up on squishies by a small amount, but it massively reduces time to kill against other targets. I often find this is the build that works best for a hard carry of a game as it allows me to kill anyone I want more easily
pbe changes go crazy, been trying full crit on there a lot :) collector into er into ie into navori into ldr, crazy one shots
I love bork, it’s always been one of my favourite items, the only issue I’ve ever had with it is how it’ll generally over perform and get fucked into the ground eventually.
I will give you a nice build right here with runes.
You can go a lethal tempo rune page, with approach velocity and magic boots.
Your build will be BOTRK into Wits End (if needed), boots will be depending, but never attack speed ones.
Then you will go Jak Sho/Iceborn gauntlet/Radiant Virtue
Rest of your build will consist of items like Randuin/Anathema/Gargoyle/Knight's Vow
Just make sure you Level up as it follows: W - Q - E (if ganking) / W (if doing a full clear) - W... (just make sure you have 3 W levels as it helps with your clears insanely and you can easily invade chickens and golems with it)
Usually just make sure you ban Rek'Sai.

what are your thoughts on navori rush on shaco clearing objectives helps you get your w up more often allowing you to stack boxes while you do drake or rift, also during fights your q and e will come up sooner and by lvl 11 if you have transcendence your basica ability cdr gets 20% refund on kill not including the amount of basica ability cdr that has been reduced by navori with hail of blades
whats your opinion on AP shaco? I think it's quite viable last seasons but relies more on team than AD imo.

I have yet to hear about such a Build being viable atm
(I remember one or two years ago a meme about collector into AP to execute enemies with boxes but that's about that, the Build was never anything than troll or a joke)

i tend to buy switfies boots instead of berserker nowadays; would berserker really perform better overall ?

It might just be what Shaco needed to be strong again as Shaco's damage came 90% from items

The buffs make it better, while late game centered, a lot of people like to Build it early, after Eclipse and boots as a third item, its passive damage does not scale with level, making it a good early to mid game power spike item.
It has ok damage, it really just depends on what Build you want to end up with late game
If you want Crit, don't go Claw
If you think the game will end fast, and all you care is power mid game, go for it
As a shaco main of a few years my biggest issue with shaco right now is itemization. I think he was fine but with the item change shaco really got the short end of the stick. Cant build duskblade and IE together. IE is too squishy on its own and Duskblade doesnt do enough damage on shaco. I think shaco is still fine but all his items are getting nerfed. E.g. Essence reaver nerfs made shaco even worse. Its a sad patch and shaco will ALWAYS be worse that most of the other assassins
if the champ relies 100% on their items to be good, its a sign that there is an innate problem with the champ, shaco just doesnt have any decent numbers so he relies on chain fears with ap builds or just AA based builds

It is saddening to see biased opinions/views in regards to champion balance from someone in such a position on the dev team...

I have to say I played a lot and experimented a lot since the last buff
And shaco actually feels strong in my opinion
Rare are the situations where I feel I lack damages
I also hate Bork and hate IE the feeling isn't there
I mainly go for prowlers lucidity youmuu/eclipse mortal/ldr and it's actually fine
Lot of cdr
It plays more around very short fights but repetitive
Perhaps you are having a good experience especially since Eclipse is very consistent at the moment in terms of performance
But that doesn't mean compared to last season for instance, compared to the old IE, Claw Build, Shaco doesn't have as much damage/ less one shot potential now
Meta always changes, while I would prefer more damage to sustain as you can go in, insta-kill and have more fun, if the current popular Builds work for you, that's great
@@TheClone for sure it's a little bit less damages but you can still actually one tap carries later on in the game
I had a lot of instances where my backstab crit for 1.8k which is pretty much an adc's complete hp bar
+ before you'd rely on your Prowler's active to be up to get the most damages when now it's each time hail of blades is up
I still hate IE being a mythic and yes it would be better if it goes down to a legendary but I always see ppl complaining about shaco being weak every time even tho the champ is on one of the best spot he had as a champion alone (not including items)

Rn i'm playing shaco with eclipse then prowler and the other items are usually item like ldr or collector if they have shield serpentsand it's 3/4 items powerspike build.
I literally oneshot everything and the eclipse give you the shield+MS bonus after the passive proc.
I love the er and botrk but I feel this way i can have more impact on the game and being annoying on the enemy team( like the new prowler's passive is really good on shaco) btw it's always good see one your video.

@@user-xl9yk5vr3wI agree but if u have a strong lvl 2 bot lane u can start botside and go for lvl 3 gank and usually get two dharvest stacks. The two stacks are huge early imo. I usually then looks mid to force a sum spell and collect another dh stack. It about how u play it. I use to play AD shaco with dark harvest a long time ago and maybe that’s why I’m able to work around being weak early. HoB on AD 100% better tho

purpose of the competitive build?
Better sustain, I had a short section in the video talking about it but I ended up cutting it out as I'll make a future video about it.
But the idea of it is, it's what Higher Elo players go for, especially I've noticed in Korea, the better sustain allows you to 1v1 a bit better and secure objectives at the cost of not having one shot potential

shaco is really weak, even if youre fed you still lack damage other champions have . I think shaco need proper rework
I think your viedeos are good but your shaco movement isnt that one of an otp.
So i tell you some more tricks:
1. most importantly is that you ALWAYS hit your backstab on jungle camps ALWAYS ALWAYS. even 1 front attack is like 1 second slower jugnle clear. Youre Redbuff clear was horrible btw.
2. Youre ganks are pretty good and you put your boxes well but you can still walk between your aa
3. there is like a perfect sweet spot with your q+r combo that if you hit it you will oneshot instantly. Its so precise like akali instant passive proc with q. So basicallyl you q right where the enemy will walk. If you press r now your clone should instantly attack your enemy face and you with your backstab at the SAME time. if you R a little bit to far off then you might miss 1 aa or even your e +aa animation cancel
4. your build is one of the best ones and would like to suggest another one that works really good with the perfect q+r combo. Yomus, soul reaver and prawlers claw.
you can position yourself better with yomus ms and the first aa is the most important, because your can finish with e then escape with your w.
5. bork is good when you hit 3 aa but i usally finish my enemy with 2 aa. So i only build it if i want to fight tanks or if adc plays bruiser.
btw dont watch my viedeos they are pretty old ones im now diamond 3 as an shaco otp.
