Here's a pretty important trick to know about his Q: if you are slamming two targets together, they cannot die until the slam finishes. Practical use of this is to make enemy jungler waste smite. You grab the buff with Q, auto them to slam them together, and if they don't time it right and try to steal it mid slam, it will smite and heal them without the buff taking any damage, effectively allowing you to secure it. Do note this doesn't work on enemies that are immune to CC like dragon or baron

Cause doing that you are not only overlaping E and R CC you are losing your Q, basically combining 3 CC in one moment, losing a good amount your potencial. I think it’s much more useful E Q R wait a bounce item (like Randuins for example) auto atack than the one you said, cause the amount of CC in the ones that matter is higher.
@@loupe500 yes but remember jg is all about opportunities and if i need to gank an Ahri mid under tower when she has all abilities up and ready i could effectively play without a Q if my e cancelled mid animation to ult when my mid laner can follow up making for a small time frame of reaction time that the Ahri can't use to throw a her charm or run with ult
@@loupe500 It's a matter of situation. In a disengage/saving situation, I could see myself not needing to use Q if I just want to force a quick disengage.

Even without all these tricks his blob collecting resets his w cooldown which you need to sustain your healthbar is in a constant flow his movement needs to be on point while spamming 100s of abilitys and youre jumping so far that its easy to loose track of the fight so you have to check out the fights state during all of this aswell

Actually, something I discovered is that an enemy hitting a wall after Q proc (Like when you try to knock 2 targets separated by a wall) that wall hit still does AoE damage. I realized when I killed a poor Lux by mistake when she was close to that wall. Just mind blowing!
Missed a "Trick" for redbuff. You can start chicken with w go to red lvl 2 and then q krugs over wall. This will give you another blob to pickup instantly resetting your w and as well ccing the redbuff.
Been a Zac main since I played this game, as far as I'm concerned he's the goat champion. I knew you colud use abilities during R, but I didn't know about all the E tricks, I knew you could use smite and Zhonia, but didn't know you could throw a Q. Very helpful video, well done.
Damnnn I'm a zac OTP main (1.5m Mastery) and I didn't know about most of this stuff. That E into zhonyas will be so useful. In higer elo you get canceled by everyone and it's almost impossible to engage
As a support main who is trying every single champion in this role just to see if it works (currently the only off meta supports I have found are full tank maokai, I have been consistent with it since season 9, and orrn, but I abandoned that a bit time ago). Zac can be easily an off meta support. Tank, cc, engage, everything we need is right there.
I started spamming Zac support in season 8 cause it made obvious sense to me... Tons of CC, mobility, engage, and his passive... Then I noticed a trend of high elo people using it, but it is very underrated by most people.

Also blobs will pop out in the direction you’re not facing after using an ability, in other words to ensure your blobs are in safer spot try to face the opposite direction then where you are try to move to, to ensure you’re blobs are in a safer place to pick up. This is mainly if you use him top lane in the jungle it may be applicable in a 1v1 or in a poke battle

the hex flash->e thing is actually a bug,doubt it will get patched any time soon as tencent doesn't care about fixing the game and you probably wont get banned for using it either. It is a very niché use case though. If there's an enemy that's good at cancelling your E (a good thresh or gragas for example, but anyone with a displacement or hard cc can stop your E mid air, his dash was made by riot unlike the newer tencent champions that have beyond malphite R levels of unstoppable during their dashes) you can use that to surprise them, but otherwise all you are doing is wasting your E cooldown on no real distance, damage, etc to look goofy and try to hide a very short range R's first 2 bounces of anymation.
@@walfcrat I just tried and you have to get the spacing right to hit both airbornes with value. if your too close or far then it will just hit at the same time and not do much extra cc.

Q onto minion or Jungle Camp before a fight. Then E towards the enemy backline, enabling you to displace the front line while engaging.
