Great video! It's good to be reminded about fundamental from time to time :) However, I'd like to see some guide on how to play when your team is massively stomped from very beginning (e.g. 0-10 in 5 minutes). I'm currently on huge lose streak and I don't really know what to do anymore - every game looks exactly the same. I don't even have a chance to establish any significant lead on my lane (I'm mid mostly) and game already looks unwinnable. I'm trying to keep cool and stick to fundamentals , but it feels not enough to keep up with fed enemy players. Also with such a stomps on other lanes, it's almost guaranteed that enemy jungler/support will start to camp your lane. Well, maybe it's just me being some incredibly unlucky with games or maybe there's something more in it, but above combined with some ridiculous LP loses (+19/-29) make this game unplayable at this point
So here is the thing: In the last play, you had the item advantage, but ran into two of his waves, so thats against fundamental nr. 4. How does one know when to prioritize what fundamental over the other?
@@scottgill2643 I aggree with that, as well as the fact these guys are challenger... In gold/plat. More gold shenanigans and explanations about their mistakes would be more beneficial i think
Waves deal less damage later on + healing from divine sunderer and grasp probably outheals the minion damage The first Q, after the tower shot healed him for 104 hp. How much would the true damage Q heal for? And it's spammable, sheen effect on sunderer is like 1.5 seconds cooldown. So you have enough healing / regen from Doran's shield/divine sunderer, grasp, Camille's passive shield and W to neglect minions at that point.
This only works if 1) Your champ has lane dominance (is stronger / or at least even in the early than / as the enemy champion) => good luck trying that against a Irelia as a Yorick. 2) The enemy jungler / support does not gank you (as a Xerath main I see this happen a lot in mid (even ganks by the jungler and support at the same time)). => If these circumstances are met, yes this will work.
I've been using tips from this channel as well as my own gameplay analysis after my games to try and climb, got to gold 1 97 LP then got 4 games in a row with multiple teammates having double digit deaths despite me having scores like 17/6 or a less extreme example was 12/4 and my bot lane went 1/14 and top went 0/7, as well as having silver ranked teammates on my team and plat teammates in the same game which resulted in people feeding due to playing above their rank because of riot matchmaking. how do i finally hit plat if this keeps happening
I played another game after this, went 19/11/10 by the end, with a 4/11 jungle and a 3/11 adc with 3/6 top who afk'd for 7 minutes. I think i'll just accept that I'm gold forever
Well, the simple answer is: it won’t keep happening. Play 100 games, and your team mates will be as good as the opponents 50 % of the time. If you keep playing like a plat, you’ll tip the scales enough times to get there
Elo system keeps u there bcoz u can carry the game, to prove u can climb further it matches u 4 trash to boost ur skill and impact to the game. Forgot about rank and play ng will make u happier! Well u and me have the same situation!
2 tips: 1. Don't surrender games and keep farming. Reason: in low elo many times a fed carry will stop farming to look for kills, many times dieing due to overextends, they will get outscaled if you just keep farming and playing for late, given that you pick a champ that has some decent teamfight or 1v1 potential (you need to be able to pick off champions or to strongly influence teamfights) 2. Don't look at climbing as a whole, play every ranked without thinking of lps, this helps decrease tilt and prevents you from adopting a negative toxic mindset in game Source: I've been d1-master in euw for the last 5 seasons
@@LivermoreJr While that may be true, its actually not that big of an issue. If the enemy team has higher mmr than yours, you get more lp and loose less, meaning you can climb with a negative win rate
Not meant as flame but at 1:22 "didnt know he had W" is just a bad excuse. The second the Q lands and Sett takes damage, you can see whether or not he stacks grit. If he stacks grit, you already know he skilled W and will probably use it in the trade - which he did 4 whole seconds later.
I agree, he definitely did/should have. Makes it a bit disingenuous to say the later kill was because of item timing difference, and not the level + total gold he had due to killing renek
I checked the timeline of that game, first time he killed Renekton was at the 11 min mark, and first kill he got was on Graves at 6 mins and Renekton got the trade, so until the kill in the video, Renek was ahead with 2 kills but somehow behind in exp and gold, probably because he inted a recall timer or didn't lane properly.
If renek had W up, he could W camille during the second E's dash and get the kill, keep in mind that Renek had enough hp to survive Camille's E dmg. no reason to risk giving him a third kill
"Don't overanalyze!" 1:33 "So Setts W has an 18 second cooldown" It's funny, cuz in order to know that I either need to know the abilities and cooldowns of all champions in league which is simply not realistic or I have to have up a spreadsheet of all champions and abilities as well as their cooldowns and how they change with leveling up which I need to keep track off over the entirety of the game. Well just play each popular top lane champion 2 times in casual. You will memorise them quite well and it takes like 20-30 games. After that you just redo that for every 'new' encounter, and in around 30 more games you can get up entire division
That kind of mentality is part of what holds a lot of players back. Screw the teammates and screw the W. Play your best and play to improve. A bad bot lane is so far beyond your control, it's not worth getting mad over.
how can i use item advantage in a mage vs mage lane? I feel like both walks away with 0 mana and low hp, and mage items + early levels doesnt feel as impactful as top matchups when having an item component lead.
Well the point is, I win my every lane except maybe 1x in 20 games. But the problem is that when I play like you do in this game earlygame, I instantly get ganked by the enemy jungler and they will sit me into oblivion because they know I'm better than their toplaner. Meanwhile my jungler won't gank. I won't die to the ganks and take off time from the enemy jungler. I won't get a lead this way, but won't get behind either. But the problem is that my team never gets a lead with this, so there is too little presence on the rest of the map. The general knowledge is not the problem, not playing 2 champs at the same time is the problem. Wich is why I play amumu support and I carried myself to gold. I have easy cc on R/damage(including tank shredding)/vision control/tankyness/debuffs due to passive and supp itemization. It's because I can fill multiple roles in 1 lane that I'm able to carry with him.
if you are dying to ganks you aren't the better laner, play 2v1 champs top like illaoi aatrox pantheon yorick that can benefit off of being ganked, you should also be freezing waves if you have a lead
The hardest part about carrying in low elo with good mechanics and fundamentals, imo, is sometimes if youre not insanely ahead, you cant carry over your 0/10 bot lane. It happens so often. Anyone got any tips for that?
just play on botlane, I was struggling to carry even at midlane, then I got autofilled on botlane, and managed to carry games easily after scaling w items, honestly aint got no idea how do people feed so much on that lane
Just play jungle assassing pog. I've had countless games where enemy jungle zed/talon/eve/whatever just wipes the floor with bot lane (OR top lane), goes 5/0, then spends 20 minutes farming wandering idiots into 20/0 while his team takes every single objective. And its plat rank too. Unless the enemy got some very fed bruiser they have no chance since they got n o b r a i n
Try your best and pick champions that synergize with your teammates, because a good comps allows you to win fight even when 15 kills behind against a bad comp. Think of how teamfights would play based on the champs that are already picked and think of the lane matchups, how you expect the game to go based off of those, then pick something that allows you to make the best out of that scenario, while simultaneously picking champs that you're confident in (maybe by switching build to fit the required playstyle).
But when I play im level 9 with triple cs and 3 plate lead before enemy mid hits level 6, leaves lane or gets a kill and my botlane + Jung go on to hand feed him 3 kills a minute until hes 18-3 XD. Or they all pick my damage type 5 games in a row. Can skillcapped stop that? I rly don't need more info or help, just bots as allies at least instead of these creatures.
I only play tanks, so at least one can face tank something for a moment, but I know what you mean, like everybody picks extreme squishy champs, because they insist on their pick.
Personally as a top iron player I just respect my opponent then poke them and if they trade then they trade. If they are aggro I just let the wave push into me and freeze wave, but if they are passive I’ll just cs and try to poke dmg. And after that I do whatever. (Keep in mind this is iron thinking)

Just because someone is in Challenger doesn't mean they auto-win in lower tiers. Challenger players don't have special buffs on their champions making them any stronger or better than a lower tier player's champions they're facing. That kind of mentality is part of what holds a lot of players back. Screw the teammates and screw the W. Play your best and play to improve. A bad bot lane is so far beyond your control, it's not worth getting mad over.
@@StrunDoNhor who said I was mad lmao it’s just the reality of playing top lane
@@ApocalypticFart Burger King cashier talking about pisslow
@@garymatera9308 I ain't saying you're mad, I'm just saying that mentality doesn't do anyone any favors 🤷 sorry if that offends.
As soon as I have high winrate as a jungler, I got placed with autofills that lose nne 0 4 before 10 min
how can i use item advantage in a mage vs mage lane?
Tip: sometime crashing wave isnt worth ur death.
Its a gamble
Think of how teamfights would play based on the champs that are already picked and think of the lane matchups, how you expect the game to go based off of those, then pick something that allows you to make the best out of that scenario, while simultaneously picking champs that you're confident in (maybe by switching build to fit the required playstyle).
i mean it is quite unfair for the enemy botlane to lose a game if they are 10/0 lol
How the fuck did my actual rank get attacked on the google search xD. Great content as always!
How to Cary..
Step 1: let sett missplay and get a fee kill.
Step 2. Snowball
Wave management and malphite got me to daimond in 72 games
I think running down people with an item as Camile is just basics. Youd win no matter what, that champ+item is broken as shit.
I only play tanks, so at least one can face tank something for a moment, but I know what you mean, like everybody picks extreme squishy champs, because they insist on their pick.
mind to show opgg ?
Just watch alois for the fundamentals
Personally as a top iron player I just respect my opponent then poke them and if they trade then they trade. If they are aggro I just let the wave push into me and freeze wave, but if they are passive I’ll just cs and try to poke dmg. And after that I do whatever.
(Keep in mind this is iron thinking)
Bro pleas make video on lol wild rift too it is also becoming popular
You sound like you just aren’t in to the video, or like your mind is somewhere else. Everything going alright, man? We’re here for ya! Hope I’m wrong. :)
I greatly appreciate these lessons, but whoever is doing your editing, please raise his volume!
How are you so zoomed out in game
awesome video!!!
Just know all 160 champions’ abilities . Got it .
So I only have to remember the weakneses of the 160 champions
i win lane every time and i get fed but i lose anyway cause my bot or jg feeds
When u playing around cd advantage, someone playing around duo smurf botlane and destroyed ur botlane inner turret when u as a toplaner leads 5/0 ahead and just finished ine tower. Unless they made massive mistakes and capitalised by u. Ur game just ruined!
Dude the renekton is just bad 😂
During that last fight he use his E too early AND he missed it, then used Q W instead of W Q, if he landed the combo correctly no way he would’ve lost that fight 🤦🏻♂️
Unfortunately, at no ward at lvl 3.
how to escape d3 was waaay too personal
The sett kept wasting his W, so it was easy to win lmao.
I got 2 kills enemy team got 30 before 10 mins just because 1 guy doesn’t play supp or jg
More McBaze
Another banger by Mc "Fundies" Baze
the boring tip than win lane easy.
step 1 - Play a champion released in the last 2 years.
step 1 alternative - play a champion riot blatantly favors over the other ie yasuo, camille, samira, kai'sa or pyke
step 2 - play like you have more than 2 fingers
step 3 - DIAMOND.
And im only exaggerating a tiny bit here.
Camille is so broken bro yes XD!!! totally bro !!
@robertenbre8188 i mean. She quite litterally never falls below a 51% winrate and if she ever does riot practically gives her the windshitter treatment and hotfix buffs her. If you dont think shes on the riot approved list, your blind.
3:40 how can Sett zone you if you have 2 item advantage?
Kled W goes on CD after the auto attack sett can go in and try get an E stun or a normal E pull into double punsh into Q and kled is not allowed to go auto fight sett since then sett can just W him kled W cd in trading is high and at that time it was exactly 11 seconds
Level advantage and minion advantage together with sett not losing an all in because of his E and W
sett has his cannon wave backing him up while kled's minion wave is still walking
If you see the white bar start filling under Sett's HP, it means he's levelled his W. Otherwise, he's probably started with his E.
perfect video
top tier content
You are a challenger smurfing in Gold/Plat and you lost that Kled game.
Just because someone is in Challenger doesn't mean they auto-win in lower tiers.
Challenger players don't have special buffs on their champions making them any stronger or better than a lower tier player's champions they're facing. Besides, League is a team game, even if you stomp your lane or role regardless of your rank, it doesn't mean you'll win because there is always the chance other places on your team lost their matchup resulting in the enemy team winning.
@@Shuyin128MK4amen, that guy has league as their personality FR
@abonynge let me guess you are gold/plat 😂😂
@@Shuyin128MK4 Well basically a challenger should have around 90% WR on gold elo, since every other posisiton needs to fail for him to lose and thats 50/50 4 times in a row
@@ДенисИванов-э9у That is an extreme exaggeration of numbers I feel. Nobody gets 90% WR unless they're Challenger smurfing in Iron or Bronze at highest, and even then 90% is exaggerated, it's more around 70%.
Pls tell me best role/ champions to climb ranked, rn I'm iron 1. I used to play chogath but it's hard to play caused meet counter so easily. I try ap chogath but I always lose, so I always stick to tank chogath. Rn I'm trying lots champions
Try mundo ghost tp / sion full tank and split push you will hit silver trust me
Yorick got me out of bronze for the first time, I play a lot of Garen rn. Gold iii atm and climbing.
I don't know how to utilize Sion, didn't try mundo yet, idk how to split push as Yorick. I buy twitch few days ago and using ap build. Only get 30k damage so far. The problem is I always meet bot when playing ranked, yuumi or taric . It's hard to climb if bot keep ruin my match. When I was adc, I try to rules taric back away from front line but he keep engage, and shitty part is. Enemy know taric bot, they using Pyke and seraphine. I didn't get glorious anivia because requirements are crazy. I just want reach gold...
When last day before rank reset, i play nonstop trying get anivia skin. But 40 points left and I fall asleep. I gave up and stop playing lol entire day. This my first event, I buy chroma naafiri. I thought will able use her skin, turn out I can't. Because doesn't have the skin yet. I feel little bit sad, I could just buy the stich orb if I know that would happen.
@@tomorrowisyesterday3215 bro there is no such thing as 'counters' in low elo, specially in Iron. Stick to tutorials and guides, u will climb eventually once u learn all the basic stuff, u also dont need great mechanics to climb up to certain level so as the video says, stick to the basics, pick a couple of champs u have fun playing and keep grinding.
