    GREAT VIDEO!
I actually have tasted the new make form Dornach Castle Distillery - they had brought a bottle over to the Limburg Whisky Fair in the Spring of 2018

Excellent video, really well done. Your best to date. Will look for spirit to come from Dornoch.

Beautiful castle! Great shots of such a lovely find. Dornoch looks like everything you would think Scotland to be.

Very nice video about Dornoch! I stayed there one night in October. I was also very impressed by the hotel and the beautiful surroundings. Awesome whisky bar and I love the connection to the micro distillery in the garage. 👏🏼

Hi Erik, that's a great pub and, as you say, a great place to stay. Many thanks for showing the little distillery in the shed out the back, too. I think I heard recently that they're moving the workings to a slightly larger site in Dornoch so that they can increase production and store more casks. What I enjoyed most though (apart from the food) was the Whisky Bar, which you showed as you walked in through the castle's front door. The whisky menu here is almost the size of a telephone book - what an incredible selection! And it includes rarer and older drams which disappeared from the market years or even decades ago. I think you'd need to spend a week there to do it justice. But even one night is a joy in itself. And yes, the town itself is a real treat. There's heaps to see and after checking out the fine old churches there's the fantastic white sand beach to take a prolonged stroll along. With other great towns in the vicinity such as Tain, as well as Balblair and Glenmorangie distilleries, a whisky enthusiast could easily spend a few days here while just scratching the surface. Cheers!

My first night, along with a dram of whisky, I had haggis that were served sort of like hushpuppies - a small, savory, deep-fried ball made from cornmeal-based batter. It was accompanied with a dipping sauce. It was delicious!

Great find. Good thing you forgot to book a room. Last time I was in Yorkshire the places we found that we had not booked before hand were the gems. On the map looks like you are very close to Old Pulteney ? Did you visit there too? Cheers

Donner Pass Whiskey there were many providential moments during my trip. It was as if I was traveling with an angel who was making sure I didn’t screw things up.
