I love the Clydeside distillery. My partner a I visited here back in Feb and done one of the tours. We then stayed in the cafe for an hour or so and tried a whisky flight. Amazing experience and the staff are super friendly!
You're in town and chatting to Anna and sharing the good stuff! Great to see. Welcome back. That shop used to have far more bottles, albeit at slightly inflated prices, but now have their own whisky to sell, so there has been a change of emphasis. Excellent staff there, though and I enjoyed a tour there with GWC.
Wow! what a shop … Now I am worried how much extra money I will have to plan in for my trip there … but I need to stay connected to the European prices, as well! (planning an Ireland & Scotland trip … well, the date is still fluent … but soon! But I’ll probably not bringing something worth while sharing ;)
Great Store tour 🙂 As I were in Glasgow in 2018 I saw the distillery but sadly was not in there. The Whisky you tried was here around 75 Euro to get. Little high price for such a young whisky. But other new distilleries can top that. Oh see, you can go for the Port Ellen in change when you sold your Springbanks 🙂 Glen Scotia sharing is also fantastic. Wish I was there. Cheers. Stefan
@@WhiskyMystery let me know when your passing and I will try and catch up with you both... If you maybe see an interesting distillery handfill from any of the 3 that would be cool....hope you have a fantastic trip..
Unlikely as the Indian food in the UK is not familiar to Deepa at all. Actually a lot of Bangladesh people run the restaurants in the famous Brick Lane area
@@WhiskyMystery I did see a pre covid video of "eating London" and The Indian place was a street vender on Brick Lane but who knows if that is still there..
I always like to have a bit of fun in these new distilleries where they wax lyrical about their expensive very young whisky by saying, "oh is this your vodka?"

Sounds like a good day out
So nice to see you keep sharing the Glen Scotia bottle. A great treat for whisky lovers to try an old IB of a respected distillery.
Always fun to share.

Yeah I remember the bigger selection.
Nice to see the G&M share bottle come out.
Always fun to share

Yeah we could buy almost anything after those Springbanks sell...maybe
Love Clydeside as my local distillery, the Stobcross is a fine if a little young dram
A great start
I’m watching this from the distillery’s cafe
Haha funny. You can check if prices went up
Great to have you back over... Any plans on hitting Manchester....?
Thanks Alan. Probably just zooming past on the motorway. Did you need anything from Cambeltown? Let me know.

@@thewhiskyfriend will take a look but I think the specials are all limited to one per person
Quite a liquor store
And some good prices
Did you do the Distillery Tour when you were there Phil? 🤔 Hope you experienced the amazing jam donuts in the cafe too 😮
No tour. We did look at the donuts but no tasting.
Is there an Indian food spot in London you might show us when you get that far?

Haha so mean
Did Anna recognise you? 😯
She did. We had met 2.5 years before also.
