As you correctly said "tricky", getting the positions marked up on your own and with nothing to hold the upper tailgate in place and then fitting it on your own. Sometimes it is not the repair work but the measuring and refitting that make the job difficult and time comsuming. Here in the UK, we sometimes refer to split tailgates as a "Cat Flap" tailgate because the top opens like a cat flap! Excellent work as usual young man.
Tricky. Hah! Down right awkward and exhausting. Said never again has to be a better way. Not if the master also does it this way. Thanks for sharing mate.
Not a how to but good info on how to improvise with angle iron. I think a lot of us get it in our heads that we need fancy tools to fabricate. But a couple of clamps and something with the right contour works just as well. Thanks
Another scout door lives for another day! Nice work Tubal, was that the only thing that needed to be done on the scout ? Seems to be in pretty good shape, and also see you jammed the delivery truck, you also spray in your shop? Thanks for taking the time to put this together for us, always enjoy watching your skills at work,👍🇨🇦Ricky.
Thanks Ricky! Yeah that's all the customer wanted done. I'm pretty sure he is going to try to sell it. The body is in great shape! But it don't run or anything yet it needs some TLC. Also yeah I got the Metro jammed so we can put glass in it. I'll do some body work now and then but as far as a full paint job , I send it to my buddy William to put the color on.
This channel is so underrated
