The majority of witchfire I get on my runs comes from nuggets. Every time I get a ton and most of them are large. When I convert them I get more than from clearing everything on the map. Once I realized this I stopped even looking at metanoia and in fact if luck affects the quality of nuggets you get than it's way more beneficial stat in every way. I have 48 and on every run I don't know what to do with all the keys and demonic ammo. Not to mention the feathers.
hes saying the opportunity cost of spending points in metanoia vs just putting them in luck to get more witchfire drops makes up for any difference on top of all the other positives luck gives
when considering taking points in metanoia seriously, were assuming the first prophecy slot is witchfire and the extra gains from that... right? are we including cricket in these numbers? im confused and trying to figure out if i wasted points leveling it to 20 for the +20% witchfire.
I like this more objective, less angry trash toalking tone of video! you always have interesting inputs on game balance but this makes it super easy to follow! i am interested in this game now
Doesn't this mean that its optimal to pick a starting class with 15 metanoia if you plan on playing more than 84 matches on that character? Obviously there are changes in the specifics of the math due to the costs being back weighted, but the principle I'm seeing is that all metanoia buys go positive at a certain amount of play. So it seems like getting those points out of the gate would be the most efficient way to go about it. The only point where it becomes a true drag is when you hit 233-240, as those points could have been put in another stat. But from 84 matches(or some number in the same realm) to when you hit level 233, starting with the 15 metanoia would be better. And that is the range I would guess most people will fall for most of their playtime.
love watching RPG stats and maths geeks and apparently you pay taxes👍🏻. I'll watch a couple more, lower the volume and prolly *have* to follow to be honest with my beliefs. Nice show and learned a bunch /🍻
Btw, Im trying to decide if I wanna try this or space marine 2 and just noticed you play both- which one do you think offers more replay ability and overall fun?
FYI think I found out the answer from some binge watching your content lol, really like your channel. Wouldn’t mind seeing an even more in depth look on Slayer/and or items/weapons!

we dont care little bro the streets (darktide) need you back, smite psykers are running rampant, uncanny strike is on every dagger, and i keep seeing your name pop up on reddit alot when people are asking for advice which is pretty nice. I'm joking but I caught your first stream of this, I sunk so much time into this awhile back and I really disliked it for like a full two days before it became a little brainworm, will absolutely cop your strats when I eventually dig it out of my backlog.
It really isn't tbh. Irongate gives 50 to 70k a run it takes 50k to 60k to level from 50 to 250 It took like atleast 70 to 100 runs of practice for no hit. And the rest was just maxing out items. Funny enough if I had like 30 of that stat I'd STILL be paying it off. It wouldn't be till like level 300ish I saw any benefit from it ie where investing wouldn't have hurt my stats.
you are not getting 300k on iron gate castle lmao not unless you picked up your souls from before. i actually have a test character with all stats cheated to 99 and on that character i get like 200k from a full run doing dungeon doing all events all like 14 chests so you are 100% full of bs with that 300k a run
Man found your channel through dark tide. I fucking love how completely unhinged you are. Always enjoy your work.
This is true. His unhingness + actual great knowledge of games is top tier content
Saved this video if I get this game in the future, thanks for the good content and have a great day
no need, Works for this version atm. stats 2.0 going to change all of this.
no it isnt stats 2.0 is most likely not going to change all of this lol.

Metanoia's effects apply to witchfire clusters.

wouldn't metanoia scale multiplicatively with the higher gnosis + new maps?
It would. But by that point I feel like it's fairly useless

This was great! Think Slayer will be what I go with if I jump on this bandwagon

How are you getting only 70K a run on Irongate? I'm lvl 130+ and I get 250-300K wf.
