My initial foray into this game was with mostly gunplay, forgetting often that I even have spells. I have learned more recently the power of the magic, and this video really cements that with the overlaps.
The gunplay is simply awesome, the weapons and movement and hitboxes just feel nice. But the Real Power comes with spells/elemental combinations. Glad you like the game!
And here I thought sticking with one element in my loadout of spells and weapons was the way to go...to take advantage of the manifestations affecting everything I would use amongst one element. Thanks for showing me the light. Still only level 30 but having a blast with this game
30 is already pretty good! Glad you enjoy the game and imagine what is to come! So many more weapons, equipment and MAPS! Enjoy experimenting with the Elements!
I didn't know there was such a nice channel about this game. I took a long break. Since I started the game, All-seeing Eye and Echo. Lighting bold spell and Rotten fiend with paintet tooth and henbane of course ^^And now improving weapons to the maximum is really tiring
thank you for your kind words, appreciate it! The DEVs did a very good job with the last two updates! Let me know which weapons and spells you enjoy most!
All fire build with a lightning ball thrown in for crowd control is my favorite combo. You HAVE to try the Basilisk/Echo with Critical Burn and Flashover arcanas (if you're lucky). So much fun! For relics, go Eye of the Madwoman or Blood of a Banshee and you just melt through everything. Here's the gameplay loop: Throw down a Burning Cross and Lightning Ball to kill the minors, this also saves you from worring about ammo Mop up the rest with the Echo at short range, and Basilisk at mid/long range For elites, I prefer to go Basilisk and stay safe at range For bosses, slide up to any boss and blast it in the face, you'll kill it before you even need to reload If you have Critical Burn, you have always-on criticals If you also have Flashover with Critical Burn, it's a pyromaniac's wet dream Also running the Crown of Fire ring will save you from reloading with every new enemy you ignite
In the decay and fire combo, how are you getting your light spell back so quickly? Do you have a lot of points in spell recharge, or is this an interaction between elements in the build?
@@chr_isso What stat value do you aim for with spellhaste (I'm only new to the game since it dropped on Steam - is the stat called Witchery)? Do you rush it to that target value or do you balance its growth with Vitality and Stamina?
Yeah, best tip is: Wailing Tower. Just jump down to level 1, kill the wave (should be around 50 enemies) and leave throgh the portal. Fastest way to level up :) Just as i display it in the video!
thanks, I'll try some of these before I uninstall. wish I had done more research before buying this half baked game though. I don't understand why so many people gave this game such glowing reviews...it feels unfinished. I just don't see the point in grinding out weapons just to run the same maps again and again. It's a shame because this could've been a great game.
It's completely possible to finish a hole map with just one gun. The Grind at the beginning will become much much easier because the DEVs plan to rework the Research System - might come with the next update, not quite sure. You don't have to grind every gun - just play All Seeying Eye and Hunger/Hangfire.
@@zorgnator why would that have mattered? there aren't any bugs or technical issues...the game is just lame and they have nothing on their release roadmap to address it.
@@chr_isso I think you misunderstood what I was saying . Sorry if I wasn't clear. Grinding out the unlocks for each gun is basically the only reason to play. That part is fun - but there's nothing else to do beyond that. It would've been nice if there was more to do afterwards with the fruits of your labor.
have you ever played an arpg game? you just play the same maps killing the same enemies there as well, yet diablo and poe are some of the biggest games ever. it's because it's about creating fun builds and completely obliterating the enemies. if you don't find the combat fun, then yeah, you won't like the game. the devs will be adding more stuff like quests and more story elements eventually. just wait until full release to play again
Very interesting stuff, i knew the elements combined in some regard, but didn't know the exact effects of the combination! Thanks for the info!!
You're welcome!!

Great video and really nice channel, there isn't much good information about Witchfire so this work is much appreciated. Subscribed!
Thank you mate, appreciate it! Let's hope the game gets more attention once it hits steam!
Not much information because it’s not on steam. Not too many people wanna get anything on Epic… I’m one of those people lmao
Just a few weeks(maybe 1 or 2 month) and the game drops on steam!
Nice video, As several other commenters have said. I knew that elements had some combos in some way but never the specifics. Thanks for the vid.
Glad I could help!
Great loadout picks, rotweaver is my favourite new weapon, thanks for making and sharing 🖤🖤
it's a fun gun but i usually find myself burning through the ammo (even though you can ofc get ammo back).
you're welcome, thanks for the sub!

same! I had no idea elementys stacked, its not on the wiki?

Alright, will try to this in the afternoon! Thanks for sharing mate!
Hypnosis+Hunger Frost Cone+Steel Cross is my most Fun atm.
Sounds good! Iron Cross is very strong! I play it usually until i get burning stake!
8:45 Try this combo with the Basilisk and Cricket
alright, will do!
In the decay and fire combo, how are you getting your light spell back so quickly? Do you have a lot of points in spell recharge, or is this an interaction between elements in the build?
Yes! I pump all points into witchery! Spells make you strong!
@@chr_isso What stat value do you aim for with spellhaste (I'm only new to the game since it dropped on Steam - is the stat called Witchery)? Do you rush it to that target value or do you balance its growth with Vitality and Stamina?
i recommend bringing vita, endurance and luck to 12 first. in this order. if you struggle with hp, vita to 15.
then pump witchery and metanoia.
what preyer did you choose penitent? sorry knoob q, first day trying the game and you r build looks cool.
i went with penitent, yes. but it doesn't matter. after 2 hours all classes are the same!
@@chr_isso Ty for replying, I will follow since you’re so helpful, thank you
thanks man, appreciate it!
Any tips for leveling burning stake? I'm only getting a couple of hexes per run even though I see enemies catching on fire from the stake.
Yeah, best tip is: Wailing Tower. Just jump down to level 1, kill the wave (should be around 50 enemies) and leave throgh the portal. Fastest way to level up :) Just as i display it in the video!
What are your stats for this character?
Vita 15
Healing 8
Endurance 12
Luck 15
Witchery like 55
Metanoia like 40
anything regarding the stats?
Imho:
Vita 12
Healing does not matter
Endurance 12
Luck 12
Rest Witchery and Metanoia.
Witchery = Power.
where i got this rotweaver?
You can find it in the Wailing Tower, you can pick it up during the Bossfight.
