@@joem7023 agreed. Savy buyers tend to do this to us too. But just remember, different times of year put the advantage on both sides of the coin. For example q4 it’s all gravy for us.
I pay between 1% & 30% the items value this way I can sell my items up to 50% OFF and still make a little profit I won't accept 50% offers until I've had the item listed a few months.
For Q&A: How do you have time each day to source products when you list 40-80 items (pics, description, titles, price research) in addition to packing orders, and also film, edit, and upload these videos? Do you eat, exercise, or sleep? I get the job feels enjoyable, but is there downtime to enjoy things, people, and activities outside selling? You can work yourself into a rhythm, but can you see yourself sustaining this 20 years from now?
Good morning we appreciate you for sharing business tips with us and how you operate your business. I wanted to mention the racks. I really could not see how the shelf was set up on the blue racks in the video but im thinking these may be similar to heavy duty tear drop pallet racks with wire/shelving. If not, try adding the words industrial and commercial when you're shopping around. Hope this helps a little with your search.
I've been bummed as I only had 12.5k$ sales in July. Had a few 20k months prior so felt horrible. Then I remembered what I would have given to get 12.5K in sales last July
I have ordered items before and I found out after I paid that there is a up to 3 day handling time or they only ship out on Mondays and Fridays but they forget to mention that in the description. So when I sell an item I have 1 day shipping but 75% of the time I get it out the same day and the buyer gives me a *wow* response.
Wouldn't bother with taller racks if it requires a ladder. Moving a ladder back and forth to grab items will be too time consuming, and also add risk of injury for employees or yourself. Efficiency > storage that's why walmart, home depot, and lowes all have huge aisles. They can store less but turnover items more efficiently.
If I had the space I wouldn't use tall racks that require a ladder but I work out of a 10X10 storage unit so I make sure to use every bit of space I have.
When do you if ever use promotions, i used to and i moved away from it as it doesn't leave sellers with that extra room of profit when fees are already high. Also the view count doesn't seem to matter when you promote but it does differ per category and what niche item you're looking to promote. What are you're thoughts thanks.
I use dynamic promoted listings on everything because I work out of a 10X10 storage unit So to prevent maxing out and getting into a bigger storage unit I'm also using markdown sales, coupons, and free shipping on more expensive items Guarantee's buyers see mine first and that I'm the cheapest.
Personally, I offer bundle/bulk deals.. but make it fkn sweet you know? Make it memorable so they come back for sure 👍🏼 I’d rather do that then offer “10% off next order” or some other mediocre “deal”
Davis go job! 30% this is what I am alos doing. But now getting ready for fall winter. If you remember me (the guy who was homelss ) well I am ow soing you tube under the name River Hunter Adventures. I've learned and now September 18th I go full time traveling and fiming. But I will also do ebay on the road. Thanks for all you videos Marty
@@Activeapparelzone more than I thought to be honest. Ours is about that but it’s deceptive because our shelves are odd. 48 inches deep believe it or not. But we pull from both sides so all we need is about 24. I think we have about 3 feet like you do.
does having a VA save you a lot of time on listing generally? I’ve never understood ebayers hiring them, since you’d still be taking pictures and finding which item it is anyways.
I feel like buyers know sales slow down during summer, so they go crazy with lowball offers 😂

How do you list so many listings daily? I don't think you've talked about that

That’s a great point I used to have 6 rows of the taller ones and yeah definitely a hassle

Do you recommend using any other color polys besides gray/white? Where is the cheapest place to get them?

Is it the camera or are your rows super tight to walk down ?
Little of both it’s 3 feet in between but that’s the most I could do to make it fit in that area, tight but not too bad

I got my racks from Target they are like 80 a piece.
I believe those are much smaller , mine are 6 ft tall and 6.5 ft wide and can hold 3500 lbs
