Your lesson is very meaningful. As far as I know, setting up enhanced conversions requires real information from users to fill in (email or phone number). So how can we minimize spam when users fill in wrong email and phone number information, then conversions are not collected?
Can we set-up enhanced conversion using GTM without data layer, manual or code by just using automatic option available in the tag? Also how do we verify if the enhanced conversion is set-up properly?
Hi! Thanks for the explanation. In my case I am able to include first name and surname within the User Provided data variable if I wanted to. But It seems like once you add those to the User Provided data variable in GTM you are required to enter the full address as well! It won't let you move forward if you don't enter anything in the address fields. Do you have any recommendations for this type of situation? Perhaps it is better to just send email and phone even if you have the name?
Why does no one show the NEW 2024 INTERFACE for Conversions in these videos with the Toolbar on the left border? This TAG is nowhere to be found in the new interface? This also shows when creating a new conversion. What about an exiting one where this option does not appear??

Would you remove your old conversion tracking code from existing forms?

You haven't showed how you have created the Form trigger
Use "Form submission" with the option "All forms" It´s the easy way.
