    This was helpful, thanks.
    Question: Do you recommend creating custom events in GTM instead of GA4? If so why and why not? Does GA4 and GTM sync events between themselves?

    Great point at 11:13 about using the form interaction events within GA4 and Tag Manager at the same time.

    Hello Benjamin, I have learned a lot from you; thank you. I cannot find the option to download reports in PDF format, in the Google Merchandise Store GA4 demo account. All I see is the share a link to reports option. Do they have the download reports option turned off? Thanks, Lisa

    I'm a little confused with the generate_lead event. I have multiple generate_lead tags in GTM, e.g. one when the enquiry form is loaded (URL contains parameters sent from enquiry buttons on previous pages), and another when the thankyou page is loaded after the enquiry form is submitted. In GA4, do I create 2 events each with the name generate_lead but each with different matching conditions? If so, how do I tell the difference between the 2 events? Or should I change the event names to custom names "generate_lead_enquiry" & "generate_lead_thankyou"?

      I prefer to control what is collected into my reports, so I wouldn’t rely on this.

    This is really helpful video...here I just wanted to understand if we do set thank you page events as conversation but if we have 10 to 12 thank you page si how we can track?
    For example, I have ebook and Gartner report thank you pages:
    /thank-you-ebook
    And
    /thank-you-gartner
    Now both contained thank-you in URL so how can I set so it tracks differently, PLEASE let me know...

      You can adjust the ‘Operator’ used to create the new event and/or change what you enter as the value.

      @@LovesData can you please explain by giving example?

    • @LovesData
      @LovesData  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      In my video, I use ‘Contains’ and then ‘thank-you’, instead you could use something like ‘Contains’ and ‘/thank-you-ebook’ to match one of your examples.
