Hi nice work! How do you programing touch probe when you start machining for the first time? I see probe in automatic mode, corect coordinate...etc. thx
Probing cycles are simple in fusion 360 i use xy probing for most operations. The same goes for probing cycles on the heidenhein control, the control asks you to input a few parameters and when your done you have a repeating probing cycle.
@@RelentlessMFG Hi, I understand how the cycles work on the Heidenhain, we use it every day :) I would rather be interested in how you program the start coordinates XYZ for the cycles, as machine coordinates or you have coordinate system on same palce? How do you know where your stock is?
@@dodomt ahh ok, I use self centering vice and I have my #1 preset as the center of vise and my z is always the vice floor. This makes it so I can post from cam and hit cycle start without any manual probing. What machine do you run?
@@RelentlessMFG yes, I thought that's how you do it. I am programming Dmu monoBlock from DMG MORI we have 3. But we have 4 types of vices and many different jaws. :)
I am a fusion user. The 5x Maneuevers are primarily from the blend toolpath, with a couple debur toolpaths in there. That pretty much it for the simultaneous 5x work.
It's fusion360 yeah, very basic, intuitive and cheap but very poor control on the final toolpath, might go with NX, Catia or Worknc if you want a full control on them
@@Iranzotv Always depend on what you need, if you do basics stuff and operations like roughing, contour and drilling you'll be good with Fusion. If you make lots of mold and 3d shapes i would go with WorkNC. But i have a preference for NX, i have a total control of my toolpaths, my engages, retracts, where i want to start, which pattern to follow etc... There is a ton of possibility already included, but what's interesting is that you can program and create your own toolpaths, events and much more. I will go with NX without hesitation.
@@Thoma5380 Thank you! Last question, i know the basics on Nx and i would like to improve, where can i learn more about it? For example create my own toolpath, measure the tool auto before one operation, etc. On youtube i didn't see like avanced stuf... Thanks for your time.
@@Iranzotv You'll have to learn by yourself and search on internet case by case, there is not much ressource or tutorials on internet to learn NX, you better to find a formation or some tutorials to begin with NX :)
Woah you got that color really vibrant, beutiful! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching! The key to bright ano is clean baths!
Amazing work!
Great video but how on earth did you get past the interlock while the machine was running? very bad H+S in my opinion 🙈🙈
Nice video, and love the result!
Thank you! I hope to make more! Hopefully better quality.😅
Watching you smack down, a dovetailed part was painful.
😅😅
Same here :))
I’ll be honest I fucked up the dovetail.
Perfect process
Dude knows what he is doing
If he knew what he was doing he wouldn’t hit the piece with a hammer afther clamping it with a dovetail, probably the dumbest thing I ever saw 😂
its a rubber mallet, i too use one for settling jobs into fixtures.
although being a dovetail it is odd.@@bartswerts4694
@@bartswerts4694 LOL, exactly what i thought 😆
Just a little tip, add a M21 so You're chip conveyor doesn't run the whole time.
amazing works. im south korea engineer , i work to mazak variaxis i700 and solidcam.
I programmed a few parts on a 2020 vari axis. Very very nimble machine it was a pleasure to use.
Impresionante amigo
BRO! You are a CAM wizard, what is this 5 axis sorcery?
good❤

@@dodomt what cad do you use fusion just released “configurations” for work holding where you can store multiple vice setup inside a single setup.
Do you use any extra software for the machine simulation for true gcode simulation or do you just use the simulation inside of Fusion?
Just fusion for simulation
Hey cam wizard guy , what toolpaths did you use in Mastercam ? Or what software lol
I am a fusion user. The 5x Maneuevers are primarily from the blend toolpath, with a couple debur toolpaths in there. That pretty much it for the simultaneous 5x work.
How do you go about clearing up where the tabs were?
Tabs are .008 so the flash breaks off with some pliers and then a sanding block and flat stone makes the finish nice
@@RelentlessMFG ah ok thanks! always wondered if people re-fixtured parts for another OP or did something post machining

cool Hermle What debur tool path did you use?

what year is this hermle??
2002 fairly late model c800u with the Itnc530 control

Believe me I tried. Videography is a skill I haven’t had the time to learn. And what money😂
They spent all their money on the machine and tooling.
