Milling of a large aluminum block (cnc milling)

Hi guys. The tools I use in the video are intended for milling steel. I don't have insets for aluminum because we rarely process aluminum.

it works fine in aluminum as long as they get cooling water. it doesn't matter so much when it's 1 piece of work,, whether it takes 8 hours more or less doesn't matter,, it's better to drive safely and avoid mistakes😃😃

May be worth to get one set of Highshear/polished inserts for each size indexable you have just for this very occasion

That's an interesting block, many operations. The steel milling inserts seemed to work pretty ok for aluminum too.

Hey, very satisfying video to watch. I was curious why you chose a ball endmill for some of the flat surfaces? I may have just been mistaken.

Thanks. We had to use it because the surfaces were slightly slanted and a plane cutter could not be used there.

Chlapci moji. Orobite sa tam jak k..i. technologia asi robim s cim mam alebo čo šef nekupil. Z hovna bič neupletieš ale ked to na konci dna pasuje hodiny/vykon taknsibmozno nasporite na trimmill alebo nejaku 5 osku. Držim palce hoši. Slowakische realitát. 30 rokov praxe. Ja mam iba 25 rokov praxe.
