So even if you did use that to clear the code without actually fixing the issue after it sits there for enough time it’s gonna pop back up while it’s on their scanner anyway. I have also seen instances where they will turn you away if the car hasn’t been driven a certain amount of miles after code has been cleared because they can see that in the system log.
I believe they would have to be active to be seen by this kind of reader. Most codes will pop back up after driving for a while if they are due to a critical issue.
It will come back on probably , what that code says is that your TPS was either installed wrong if you have intakes or its faulty . This will lead to shitty gas mileage or worse bad idle and operation.
I unplugged the sensors on the throttle bodies one at a time and the car reacted and popped entirely different codes. The light will randomly go off by itself as well.
