Hershey Parks Next Coaster Is NOT What You Think

Hershey Park just opened Wildcats Revenge but they are already starting to plan their next coaster. Hershey Parks next coaster will be a lot different than you think & their original plan may have just been foiled by their neighboring competing Dorney Park. That's what makes Hershey Parks next coaster one of the most interesting coaster additions in the history of roller coasters.

Surf coaster would work they need a family multi launch theme it to surfing in Hershey’s syrup

It’s unlikely for Hershey Park to get a B&M Dive Coaster because of Dorney Park. I would think that they willing to go for a B&M traditional sit-down looping coaster and save the surf coaster for the later times.

I don’t think Hersheypark is get a dive coaster anytime soon. Iron Menace from Dorney Park recently opened so I highly doubt that I highly doubt her Hersey is going to get a dive coaster. They could get a B&M flying coaster

They really don't need any new coasters for the next 5 years. They need to take their time and invest in a great A-tier family ride that opens in 5 years. The rides with consistently long lines are Cupfusion, Laff Trakk, Comet, and Great Bear. With the exception of Great Bear (which is the least intense of all the non-family rides), all of these are family rides.
During the next five years, they need to focus on entertainment (two empty show buildings where people can catch a break from the heat), extending the boardwalk (wild mouse footprint), retracking Lightning Racer, and staffing.
Even if the next coaster is not a family coaster, I would rather they take their time and give us something amazing rather than a B-tier ride. Hersheypark does not need a supporting cast kind of ride.

It's obvious what's needed here is a bigger dive coaster than dorneys, with 8 across surf coaster style seating. And a holding brake that lasts forever..... Sorted. 😂

Something different would be like, a winged/floorless, steel, short giga/tall hyper, with lsm launch (30-40mph) up a tradtional lift hill, 80+ degree drop, multi inversions. That would be cool.
I say short giga/tall hyper because i dont know the height restrictions hershey has to work with.

I don’t see them getting a giga they don’t have space and already have two 200+ foot air time coasters. They won’t get a flying coaster because Great Adventure has one and Dorney, Hershey, and Great Adventure are very careful not to build rides too similar to neighboring parks. I could see them getting a B&M wing coaster though. I think Dorney would be the one to get a surf coaster of the 3.

A Surf coaster would be fantastic for Hershey Park to add. Dorney park is getting a dive coaster. So for Hershey Park to get one would make no sense.
