August 2025. Kings Island will announce the Mack Extreme Spinner. Take it to the bank. They will even have that area where the batwing was with some crazy inversion elements.

As far as all of us would love a giga, I don't see it happening. Busch Gardens is on top of an aquifer. There is already an issue out by the retention ponds. With how things are running at BGT right now, I think they are focusing all finances toward Wild Oasis, Jungala refurbishment. Now with all this tightening of the budget and watching every penny could be that they are saving up for the giga.

So many errors in this video... first Goliath was closed in 2019 while they tried to find a solution to the issues. it was actually removed prior to the start of the 2024 season. As for coasters.. you are failing to mention that the park is limited on space with a RIVER (not a lake) on one side, a major road on the other, housing to the south, and industrial to the north... with Goliath gone, it may see a new coaster in the near-ish future (after it is designed and whatnot) As for lack of investment.. they have added many flat rides during recent years, including Spinsanity, Supergirl Sky flyer, and others.. they've also done a lot of needed maintenance that had been lacking in years past. With the Cedar Fair merger, Six Flags New England will likely see better theming, more rides (that can fit in the existing park, and more. To claim that the park is in trouble is just click bait and false claims. Not to mention that with 2020's covid crisis (the year Supergirl was set to open) everything got pushed back and revenues for the following year took a hit with Massachusetts' restrictive covid policies limiting park operations in the 2020 and 2021 seasons (with attendance not returning to normal at most parks until after 2022 or 2023 seasons).

Dorney’s world record drop, Hercules, wooden roller coaster in 1989 was a huge accomplishment for Dorney Park as a small local park. I can’t believe that it wasn’t even mentioned…

BGT really needs a dark ride

Busch Gardens needs more flate rides all over the park so the guest has different things to do when they are in inside the park don't get me wrong I love roller coasters but I like more things to ride them coasters.

Kings Island needs something like the Steel Vengeance! That would be a perfect fit in the Vortex’s old location!

cedar point has broken all records, the first over 100 feet, the second over 200 , the first over 300ft and of course the first over 400 ft , surly now the time has come to build a MASSIVE coaster over 500ft, this would be very expensive, but surly this would be by far the greatest rollercoster EVER built and would put cedar point back on the top of the pile as the greatest roolercoaster park on the planet

I would love to see a single rail, dive coaster, and less likely an RMC Hybrid.

Per Ryan Eldridge during the Winter Chill the rough five-year plan includes "dynamic" additions to the waterpark, extending the Steel Yard (painting Possessed, additional flat rides and a restaurant) and a family coaster. Said that there is too large of a gap between Woodstock's Express and their other coasters. Believes the old Dinosaurs Alive site is the "no brainer" but also said the park is looking at ways to make use of the lake down near Demon Drop. Called it an "unused asset".

I think Dorney will certainly see some more investment, but i dont see any of it being massive, nor will there be anything they can really do to compete with Hershey on a general thrill level. There are many factors that handicap Dorney. Ive lived within 25 minutes of the park my entire life and have worked there for many years. The first is space, they are land locked, no real space to grow. The only option for them really is build a parking garage so they can then expand into the current parking lot area. Many people speculate about the Dinos alive former area, as far as i know the park is reluctant to build here as its considered "green space" and having so much percentage of green space allows for certain tax breaks and incentives. Also it would create a huge inbalance in the park as all of the major attractions aside from Talon and Hydra would be located in that one area, not saying its not possible they will never add anything, but its far from a sure thing. The second major issue is having a local airport nearby which limits attraction height. Sorry to burst the bubble of the people who commented about a giga but its not possible for Dorney. 200 ft is pretty much their cap which is also why you see all of the taller attractions in the lower portion of the park (steel force, menace, demon drop, dominator. 3rd/4th is the neighbors/township the park resides in, Dorney is notorious for getting complaints from neighbors, theyve had to take out effects from haunt in the past, and had to get a new quieter brake system for Demon Drop designed among many other complaints, and south whitehall township is very hard to get permits and things approved. With that being said there are certainly things they can do for improvement and they will, i think mostly with Haunt and the Waterpark, and i think your point of a low elevation, family launch is certainly plausible and a good option, but its just not feasible to think they can do anything to compete with larger parks given their limitations, and sadly while they may have had a spike of attendance for menace it still hasnt been anything crazy. Dorney is just that park that if youre doing a trip, sure tack it on for a day, but not many people are planning a trip around Dorney. Its still my home park and i love it for that, but its about being realistic. Hopefully im proven wrong but i dont see it.

Dorney was one of my favorite places to visit on my last coaster trip. The lines were all minimal and the park was so beautiful. I also loved all the coasters, especially Steel Force! it's now one of my favorite hyper coasters.

Maybe a B&M giga like the paramount parks could be coming

Love the idea of a family launch coaster coming to Planet Snoopy. I also like the idea of a looping launch coaster (built by Mack?) going where Dinosaurs Alive used to be. Although imagine if Dorney Park built a giga coaster in the back of the park between Wildwater Kingdom and Parkside Pavilion.

Personally id rather see an intiman giga. The MF trains are the best as far as restraints and freedom of movement. The 4 people seating on BM is rather lacking..Either way a giga would definitely be enooughbflr me to come dkwn from Ohio

I'm thinking Anheuser-Busch and United Parks should install 2 more Busch Gardens parks based on where the other main Anheuser-Busch Brreweries are located and there's one in the New England area in Merimmack, New Hampshire which would be a great location for a 3rd Busch Gardens Park "Busch Gardens Merimmack"

Montu Reopens 13. I need BG to build a worthwhile successor to one of their most beloved and missed roller coasters they ever had. Please do not build a family coaster version… we want a kick ass successor to the big bad wolf… and we want it built in Virginia

This is wishful thinking. The park knew Scorpion was dying. They know the needed something in that area of the park to replace it. That's Phoenix Rising. You're looking at this as an enthusiast asking how the park can have the best lineup possible. The people running the parks look at them as a business. Every thoosie who CAN go to BG: Tampa already does for Iron Gwazi. They already have thrill seekers locked down. Why spend more money trying to capture the audience they already have? The main money maker is families anyway, it's better to invest there which is exactly what we have seen them doing. Busch Gardens: Tampa is not trying to "compete" with Epic Universe. No one can compete with Universal or Disney (except Universal or Disney). They know they will be an add-on to Orlando vacations and that's the market niche they try to cater to. I wish this were true, but I don't see any evidence that it is. I don't understand how Scorpions removal plays into any of this. It's not like you could fit a gigas station into that tiny plot of land.

B&M is a dying company. If BG throws tens of millions at a company with such dying standards, they need a sanity check. A B&M giga would be rough, boring, and expensive (full package right). There's no reason to not go Intamin, Mack, or even Vekoma. But then again busch gardens has lost basically all trust from me in terms of actually running their park. Ever since covid it's been nothing but downhill from park management.

I’m from Clearwater, Busch Gardens Tampa is my home park. I find it utterly insane Why nobody is suggesting an S&S Axis. It literally makes total sense….. especially with epic universe opening soon. The first Axis coaster in the western hemisphere would bring people? Or do I just don’t know what I’m talking about?

The reason why Scorpion had to leave was due to the fact of it running out of parts. The original date for the closure was set to there as they did not know how long the parts would last and at most had another week left.

Busch got the Phoenix rising and the BTW suspended family coaster as a package deal.. usually when one park get one the other sister park get something similar and btw opens in 2025 . also Epic is opening 2025 not 2026
