@@williamlanagan3528 All the classes were inferior to Soldier in every single way.
@@Elfenlied8675309 but you can have another gun in your skill when you unlock achievement. which is rewarding. soldiers cannot use biotics which is its downside but it makes up for many gun variety in possession. now, its pointless to be soldier because adept can use all guns without drawback.
goosebumps from soundtrack ME2 and ME3. Thank you for this best ever sci fi game Bioware !
As someone who's never played any ME games, i'm excited to finally be able to experience these with updated visuals and the various other updates too
This is gonna be your first time playing through? You lucky bastard
You're on for a right treat
Man you’re in for a treat.
you're going to have alot of fun overall but lower your expectations for the ending
The first two are great but the third... considerably weaker on the story front especially the ending. It's pretty awful. Go in with low expectations for number 3 and you'll be fine.
I’ve got mine preordered!! I’m so excited for this game again!
damn going up from 20 FPS
It ran in 60FPS in 2010...
@BlindingHornet Hell, the first Mass effect is locked to 30 fps on pc lmao
@@agafebriawan5715 That's not true. The framerate cap of ME1 on PC is 62.
@@Andarus have you played ME1 on xbox 360? that game ran like 15-20fps. lol
@@Andarus xbox 360 isnt capable of 60fps you dope headed yoyo
The fluidity of combat in ME3 was awesome!
"The difference is night and day yet subtle"
Just let it sink in how bad they are at script writing
Absolutely incredible. As a fan since the beginning this is a blessing and it’s my most anticipated game coming out for the foreseeable future.
This re-release isn't worth it. No one from the original bioware is part of this studio anymore. Its a husk that's puppeted by EA and filler studio hands
@@sexylazercatwizard didn’t need them. This is bug fixes and graphics updates mostly. Worth the money to me
@@erichall090909 i'd hold off and wait for reviews. bioware aren't exactly known for launching quality products day one.
Mmm yes get that Faunts music in there, noice.
Definitely one of the greatest series of all time.
looks like they made changed the mako to feel more or less exactly like the Nomad from Andromeda, which i'm happy about.
7:48 "Most lighting changes are subtle"
*shows a big, JJ Abrams lens flare*
The original games were full of them already
For real seems like that all they did
Lens flare has been around long before Jar Jar Abrams - the Millennium Falcon saving the day in the first Star Wars was a lens flare shot.
Lens flare has also been consistent with this trilogy since the OG days. Keep up, now.
"My name is LEGION, for we are many"
Meh!
"For He said unto him, 'Come out of the man, you unclean spirit'. And He asked him, 'What is your name'? And he answered, saying, *'My name is Legion: for we are many'."*
Mark 5:8-9
They got this straight from the Bible, when Jesus cast that legion of demons out of a man.
It would have been a game breaking change for them to have changed from and overheating ammo system, to the thermal clip. The arguments in either ME2 or 3 (forget which, believe it was 2 though) about which system was better was a highlight of background chatter you could hear in the Citadel.
They should've kept the system they had in the ME2 beta which was a hybrid. The system had the cool down feature of ME1, but you could also eject the clip for faster cool down. Hybrid would've allowed for more flexible play styles.
You can see this system in action on the making of ME2 DVD that came with the collector's edition.
They didn't change a single thing. Maybe shortened loading times and allow you to skip things. But when it comes to graphic fidelity they might have made it harder to look at. Bioware ain't bioware anymore.... it's just new people trying to parade the name
Not having to wait for a minute in an elevator? This is where the fun begins *in Anakin Skywalker
Now give me Dragon Age Origins remaster or remake Bioware
@Seer-of-things end Hell no wtf? Open words are almost never done right and bioware doesn't have the best record for open world games.
@Seer-of-things end if open world, needs to be done properly
Mako driving improvement? Replaying the whole trilogy starting with 1 might actually be less of a chore now. Looks amazing, have been holding off playing any of the originals since the announcement to savor this moment.
Mass effect 2 was peak BioWare. Before EA stuck their teeths in and reduced them to living husks.
Nah, it was Dragon Age Origins. Mass Effect 2 has numerous issues, particularly, with its nonsensical story.
Another weirdo blaming EA for Biowares own failures
@@shishaceo5204 they are both to blame.
@@shishaceo5204 your right . Andromeda and Anthem are proof.
@@shishaceo5204 Have you ever played an EA game other than skate & mass effect? Absolute garbage and the games have no long time usage
Can’t wait to demonstrate my flexibility with Garrus’ reach.
And calibrations
Romance girl
So can you unholster/holster your weapon in ME3 now? Or is it still the same as the original?
They should remaster dragon age 1 and 2
They don't need to do any damage control because Inquisition was actually decent.
Dragon age origins is the Goat
DA:O needs the remaster more than anything. That game had the most potato-ey graphics for its time. The textures were so low res. Still loved it though.
@@GreggyAck Inquisition was filler, it's not a bad game overall but If you remove the power grind how fast would the game be over and in the whole game only one decision matters and that only depends on whether you got the trespasser DLC.
@@GreggyAck DAI was a disappointment. If they can't remaster 2, then at least remaster 1. But also, all he companions in DA2 are interesting imo, way better than the ones in DAI, so they should remake DA2
Just fixing the sniper aiming in me1 is a blessing. Thank you bioware
What was wrong about it? It worked perfectly fine.
Never played mass effect, but im so exited for it now
You are in for a treat!
One of my favorite trilogies glad they are showing this some love it should provide well over 200 hours of gameplay
You're so luckyyy
Can't wait to load the 1st part and listen to the start screen music while watching Earth.
As someone who hasn't played any mass effect games I'm excited
you are in for a TREAT ! Enjoy every single moment.
Best trilogy I’ve ever played
Well done
keep in mind that you need to choose between ashley or kaiden because you will choose either of them who will die. enjoy.
@@princeofsomnia7664 When this first happened to me...damn that hit hard.
A proper remaster for a deserving series.
1 is coming REALLY close to a remake. If it's a different engine when can be considered one.
It's 2021 and these people down in the comments still don't know the difference between a remaster and a remake. In a remaster, never expect Red Dead Redemption 2 or Demon Souls Remake styled graphics.
However, you can still expect the same $60 price tag of course.
@@songbirdsandsandwiches8217 it’s all 3 games though, seems ok with me? Could just wait till fall, will probably be 40 by then.
Halo 2 anniversary was a remaster that looked stunning, especially compared to the original.
It means a lot to have someone with so much passion for the franchise doing these videos thank you Sir!
So far this looks like one of the best remasters I've ever seen. So many improvements but still so faithful. I'm so excited for this. They even updated the fish tank, my crowning achievement of the entire series
Sarcasm?
This is a joke right? Fish tank improvements and couch cushions??
As someone who has never played Mass Effect I'm so pumped to get this collection
Hasnt been any games Ps4/Xbox One gen that compares in terms of Space/RPGS. Its a great series, you'll love it.
The 3rd is pretty weak in comparison and the ending is agreed to be awful but aside from that it's a fun series.
Enjoy it, PLEASE
@@reed1645 I'm excited!
So sad. That 10 years on. We still don't have a worthy sequel to this trilogy
Well mass effect 4 is coming so the remaster will renew the hype for us veterans and also capture new fans in prep for max hype for it
if marauder shields is cut , im pissed!!
The final boss of the game
The only reason to get the legendary edition is to see his face again
