You’ll either have to make an extension to raise the radiator cap up on the radiator higher than the top hose, or you'll need to add an inline fill point in the middle of the top radiator hose or its going to be a pain to get all the air out of that system.
Set it up with the coolant res tank as the high point. GM did it on the LS and Duramax engines. Ford setup the 6.0 with the res tank higher than the intake.
It’s always fun to see Michelle. It’s so obvious she is crazy about Paul. Further, miss you Ben. I hope you’ve got the sun to your face and the wind to your back. Stay awesome.
To counter the small inter cooler, you need to have the turbo inlet drawing air from outside the engine bay. That way you have a lower intake air temp pre turbo. It will make a huge difference on EGT’s
@@CORNDODGER He's got a decent turbo and a pump worked over by Merlin. I'm sure it will be building over 30 psi pretty easy. It's got the turbo and fuel to do it.

Paul you've got one of the best channels on TH-cam. This old fella just loves Michelle and Grandma. Everyone on your team is just great. But I do miss Ben. But you all always put a smile on my face ❤😊
You’ll have to extend the cap/filler on the radiator higher than the hose fitting or you’ll have air locks in that top hose. You need the cap as the highest point in the system to bleed air

You should look into a water to air intercooler from frozen boost I run one in my 12 vavle it's smaller that the one u put on ans twice as efficient as and air to air cooler

If you do put a higher filler point in the system you can never remove the radiator cap because the coolant level is above it. A friend of mine did something like this years ago and he had a number of problems with it before it became workable.

When welding aluminum there's 3 steps. 1) clean 2) clean 3) clean.
Your gonna want the flare on the intercooler tube to be anywhere you have a rubber boot, otherwise the intercooler tube will constantly blow off.
Or a few 1 inch welds around the end for the clamp to catch.
