We love visiting Florida and one of our favorite things to do while visiting is to go on swamp buggy rides, when it's not breaking down. We decided to change that and fix it for good this time! Dry arid and rocky landscapes with canyons and few trees are just as amazing to this Fla. resident, as the Fla. lowlands are to Utah residents. It's always much more fun to see folks from other places enjoy the woods around here. This is truly a great country that we are lucky to live in, and still free to travel within. Great vid.😄

This is so awesome the Fab Rats family and Matt's Off Road Recovery teams and families getting together and enjoying our Florida swamp attractions at Michelle's family home. Lot's of fun and screaming about the spiders and palms slapping them. Paul and Rowdy got the swamp buggy fixed and running good! Good video!

The ride through the woods was the best. Matt out front navigating was on par.

The best times are when things don't go according to plan and you persevere and make it through it. LOL no one will forget that ride! Kudos to Paul for making it a reliable ride and Matt for finding a way through.
Paul funny thing is those two girls laugh is the same as my aunts laugh it’s unbelievable how they all sound the same when they giggling!!!! And I’m loving it!!!
Watching y'all enjoy the heat was entertaining. I live in Jacksonville and take an extra shirt to work everyday in the Summer. The 80 degree winter days make up for it.

I can totally relate. I went to go see some old family and my young cousins were trying to get a car running. Went to the barn to find them trying to get a mopar 6 pack linkage correct. So much fun.

After your repairs the buggy preformed great. I don't know what all they are supposed to do but this one walking thru swamps and bulldozing over trees must be their purpose. All the people it holds is great and everyone on board will not forget the experience. Just more of the earth that you proved you can travel over. From the rocks of UT to the swamp like jungle of FL you have mastered it all with one off purpose built creations. Your bucket list will never end. Thanks for letting us in on your fun. I have a feeling the bus adventures to come might be similar.

This was so fun to watch! The anticipation, fixing the old girl, and what a rip in the Swamp Buggy. You should send this video to the Florida Department of Tourism. Everybody is gonna want one. It's like a land version of an air boat. I was having a LOT of fun just watching this. Total immersion. So I can only imagine how fun it must have been in person. My face hurts from smiling so much. What Country., And Paul was the perfect Pilot for that trip. Not afraid to go where no man has gone before. Makin that Road!. I like it when the whole gang gets together doin some fun stuff. And it was nice to meet some of the relatives too. I already checked out a few ranch vids. That's an interesting lifestyle.

Paul, Michelle, y'all have jogged up great memories for me! 1969 or '70, Florida Everglades, Tamiami Trail, Monroe Station, my uncle's hunting cabin in the woods and a swamp buggy! The deck of the buggy was about 9 ft. above the ground. There was a Ford Model A engine at deck height with a triple chain down to the transfer case, WWII truck axles, no suspension or springs whatsoever, and tires 'n wheels from a Commercial Airliner (think 747) worn out for a plane but good for the 'glades. It seated prob'ly 10 to 12 people!
Out at the hunting cabin we stayed three days and there was the one and only time I ate alligator meat (cooked over a campfire!) we left my Dad's car ay Monroe Station, (a 4-door "61 Cadillac, black with a white top). .... remember it like it was yesterday! Heck, I even remember my Aunt 'n Uncle's home address ... 5340 SW 116th Ave in Miami. my family lived in Lancaster County South Carolina, so that was a huge adventure for a 12/13 yr. old kid.
How many Mountain Dews did the swamp buggy rebuild require? 😂
Radiator looked like it dumped a case atleast out 1 of those times
They had a hard time finding tools and unless that was part of the parts run I don't think they found a refer full of mtn dew

The swampbuggy ride was hilarious! That memory will last a lifetime! I think Matt enjoyed it the most, and Paul loved giving him that experience! I can relate to Michelle and Jamie's fear of spiders. Not afraid of spiders, but living here in FL I feel their pain. Many a time as a young boy, running through the woods, have I ran right into one of those HUGE banana spider webs. They look like alien insects lol.

Ziplock bag your bolts then tape it shut. Then tape the Ziplock bag to the inside of the box or something big in the box. Maybe even put everything in a heavy trash bag or deliver it yourself?

Living in Florida and knowing about the banana/ fruit spiders I was dying laughing! As Paul had stated you will hurt yourself more just trying to get their web off you than the spider it self!

That was awesome content. Paul always has to be working, and as always he got his project done in time to have some fun. Poor Matt was dressed pretty nice and he got dirty. A great adventure on a cool swamp buggy. Next time you do to florida bring a used set of headers and exhaust parts to make the swamp buggy quite.
Watching Micelle freak out about spiders was almost as good as watching guess car parts.
