Good video, weather can be pants but I’ve tended to be lucky over the years only been caught out a couple of times, best thing i did in my van was i got rid of the silly little freezer box in the dometic fridge, makes much more room for daily stuff, no need to freeze stuff just fill it every couple of days with fast moving stuff. Never been to that event so thanks for highlighting it, cheers 👌👍
We bought a Cali T6.1 in Feb and while the upstairs froli mattress is marginally better than the downstairs bed using the VW 'comfort mattress' however I can't get a good nights sleep and wake with extreme back ache each time. It also then takes me quite a while to stretch each morning to rid myself of the back ache; so much that I stoped looking forward to staying overnight in the camper. I have now ordered a 5cm Silver Duvalay mattress topper with the pillows so I really do hope that it works out. Thanks for sharing the video, love your content.
Thank you 🙏🏼 The downstairs bed certainly isn’t the comfiest and we found, having your head towards the front end of the van, a better solution due to the location of the joins in the bed. Everyone has different comfort expectations but the Duvalay has been excellent for us over the past 4 years, especially upstairs. Hope you find it comfortable 👌🏼

We bought two Duvalay 2cm single mattresses for our Rock n Roll bed and felt individually still too firm a sleep. We are going to see about contacting Campervantastic so thanks for the recommendation. Happy travels to you both. 🙂

We borrowed a California a few years ago and couldn't imagine sleeping on the standard bed for extended periods would be much fun. But to be honest we are a bit fussy with mattress and are having a custom made pocket sprung one made for our van as we cant get on with the foam one.
Foam one is ideal for us for up to 2 weeks at a time but realistically, it’s not the same as your bed at home. Which is why it’s always good to come home 😍 Thanks for watching 👌🏼

We have the Duvalay sleeping bags, excellent bit of kit 👍🏻
We were tempted by them at the time but opted for the topper.
They’re brilliant, wouldn’t be without it 😁
