i was 9 and 10 back in 2010 and 2011. Honestly I havent watched much baseball since those years. Really crushed me how those seasons came to an end. But watching us win tonight had me smiling ear to ear (and not gonna lie, a bit teary eyed). This team doesnt live in my heart the same way that 2010-11 team does, but knowing a bunch of kids all over NTX just watched their dreams come true makes me happy
I was 5 and 6 but still remember how disappointed I was. The last 2 years I've bought back in and now to see how we've turned it around is crazy. I thought after the DeGrom injury that we were doomed and would have to try to win it next year - especially after Scherzer got hurt too - but this team just wouldn't quit
Bro same. I was 10 and 11 those years and i haven’t been to many games since. This year i went to 4 games including a postseason game, and it felt like part of my life finally came full circle. So happy!
So happy for Eric Nadel, and Chuck Morgan, whom have been with the team for so long!!!!!! Yeah baby! Rangers WIN THE WORLD SERIES!!!!! What an epic team!
I'm old enough to remember when Eric Nadel was a radio announcer for the minor league hockey Dallas Blackhawks prior to becoming associated with the Rangers. He's been through a lot of bad seasons with the Rangers and for him to be able to witness this WS championship is awesome.
The reaction by pitcher Paul Sewald after Simien hit that ball in the 9th was one of those "awww shucks" moments, he knew it was going over the fence. Anyway, glad to see the Rangers finally win a World Series.
Forget 2010 and 2011, the Rangers are Champs finally🏆. And Bochy gets another ring on the team that he defeated 13 years ago. This is the first time I've been so happy for a team that is not my Dodgers. And my boy Seager, I'm so happy for him. Rangers, you have an admirer in me. 🤠🐴🙌🏻🤝🏻
As a Rangers fan living in Southern California, I wish Kershaw was back home in the Dallas Fort Worth Area but glad he gets to complete his entire HOF career with the Dodger Blue.

Can't believe it. 2010 and 2011 were so devastating to live through. I can finally listen to baseball in peace. This team has been amazing this year and got hot at the right time. Gallen gave a great performance and the Diamondbacks had a great postseason. Texas was just hot at the right moment
I've been a fan of the Rangers since around 2008. Was so disappointed they didn't win in 2010 and 2011. I'm so happy for these players. What an amazing team!
I vividly remember how baseball crazy everyone in Dallas was back in 2010/11 when that was going on. It's good to see the Rangers finally break past that finals barrier.
I wore my claw and antlers hat from 2010/11 for this world series. Glad we finally got the W! This squad has been amazing. Our rookie Even Carter made huge plays and Heim and Seager have been incredible. It's been really fun watching this team play and all their hard work has paid off big time!
As an Astros fan, I am honestly GLAD the Texas Rangers won their first World Series against an unlikely contender. This team has shown to be really good and very stacked compared to the other teams, and I'm glad they worked that hard to win it all. Houston strong, Texas strong. We are one in unison.
I thought the exact same thing too. I kinda wanted the rangers to get their first championship anyways. but with monty and even adolis garcia on their team I was hoping they'd get it. plus after the heartache the fans mustve felt in 2011 I couldn't imagine lol.
For those who don't know about the Rangers franchise, I can sum it up in one sentence... The Diamondback fans may have tears in their eyes, but the Ranger fans have more, MUCH more... Thank you 2023 Rangers, for you have been able to forever erase the nightmare of 2011. 🤠

As a Giants fan I'm happy to see Texas finally win (I don't feel bad about 2010, but I do feel bad for them about 2011..so close). Congrats to the Diamondbacks as well, they have had the best story this postseason without a doubt, very resilient and fun team to root for. Even their regular season was a crazy rollercoaster!
@@noshjix2163I agree. 2010 felt like a run where we just came up short to a superior team. 2011 felt like we gave it all away when victory was in our grasp. 2010 was disappointing, but 2011 was downright heartbreaking.
Congrats to the rangers fan, this coming from a braves fan. The rangers winning is actually good for baseball because it shows you that when the team is ready to compete for a championship, as an owner, you will have to invest some extra funds in the team. As an owner, you cannot stay with a close pocket and expect your team to win it all. Congrats Rangers.
As a Mariners fan, thanks for saying that. This particular result with these two teams is very ironic, considering how our season ended and the chatter around it. Owners can learn from this, but only if they’re open to doing things differently and truly interested in winning, and not just turning a profit.
I worked at Rangers Stadium 40 years ago. They were so bad, that there were usually more fans for the visiting teams. Back then, I remember one time us employees were gathered around listening to a Mavs game on the radio, because they were the ones doing well by making the playoffs for the first time. So it's great to see the Rangers finally take home baseball's biggest prize.
Great story! I’m just now realizing that the Mavs’ Cinderella run to glory happened the same year as the David Freese heartbreak. Hope you’re doing well, and congrats on your Rangers finally winning it all.

Terminate the disbelief because the season was better than before. The Texas Rangers time ⏲️ was due and now you can relax, big time ⏲️😊.
Astros fan here. Congrats Rangers! Can’t help but root for ALL Texas teams!❤ Love, from Houston.
I have family that are "rabid" Astros fans and THEY called me last night to cheer on the Rangers.
Thank you sir! I felt the same way when the Astros won.
Thanks A Million 😀👏😀👏
The title gets to stay in Texas one more year just further north this time
Translated: "Bandwagon fan here..."
i was 9 and 10 back in 2010 and 2011.
Congrats from a Cardinals fan. I can only imagine how heart wrenching 2011 must have been.
So happy!
Congratulations from a Nationals fan I was rooting for you guys.
Same here for me. So releaved to know they finally got one!
Years and years of heartache....but forever and always my team. Awesome to finally to see them finish it off!
Really happy for the Texas Rangers and the Texas Rangers fans. Congrats!
The Texas Rangers won their first World Series on 11-01 at exactly 11:01 PM, all the stars where align for the lone star ⭐ state.
@@trevorcarey3997Amazing in every way
@@trevorcarey3997FOR real, I didn't notice that. Good eye.
After beating my Astros. I was telling myself I hope they finally get it done. Great job to the Texas Rangers 👏
WS trophy stays in Texas!!
This playoff run and title has an asterisk due to adolis Garcia being on steroids!
Glad to hear man. The Astros still scare me.
@@H-TownSportz Insert proof here. Also Texas won the final 2 games without him !
I said the same thing after they beat my Orioles. It gives me some satisfaction that at least we were beat by the best.
So happy for Eric Nadel, and Chuck Morgan, whom have been with the team for so long!!!!!! Yeah baby! Rangers WIN THE WORLD SERIES!!!!! What an epic team!
Thank you! Nadel sounded just as excited as I was when that final strike was called!
I'm old enough to remember when Eric Nadel was a radio announcer for the minor league hockey Dallas Blackhawks prior to becoming associated with the Rangers. He's been through a lot of bad seasons with the Rangers and for him to be able to witness this WS championship is awesome.
I'm here 8 days before opening day for 2024. RUN IT BACK Rangers!
The reaction by pitcher Paul Sewald after Simien hit that ball in the 9th was one of those "awww shucks" moments, he knew it was going over the fence. Anyway, glad to see the Rangers finally win a World Series.
Yeah, not the World Series record he really deserved, as any Mariners fan would tell you.
I don’t get why they left him in. No else in bullpen? Congrats to Rangers.
Lifelong rangers fan here ! Been smiling all day after crying last night ❤! Party time
Watch Sewalds reaction right after the ball left Semiens bat .. priceless 🤣🤣🤣
Rangers fans rewatching this in 2024???
Forget 2010 and 2011, the Rangers are Champs finally🏆. And Bochy gets another ring on the team that he defeated 13 years ago. This is the first time I've been so happy for a team that is not my Dodgers. And my boy Seager, I'm so happy for him. Rangers, you have an admirer in me.
🤠🐴🙌🏻🤝🏻
Lol how you feel towards Seager is how I feel towards Semien- A’s fan here
@@Grievous_ I'm glad in this World Series He got two home runs at the last minute, and some hits
As a Rangers fan living in Southern California, I wish Kershaw was back home in the Dallas Fort Worth Area but glad he gets to complete his entire HOF career with the Dodger Blue.
@@SinaSoh hey I remember you, you commented if us Dodgers fans are okay rooting for Rangers despite Bochy. Congratulations, they are champions. I'm really happy for you guys. Well, regarding Kershaw, I don't know what the future is, but we'll see. Go Dodgers and Rangers!!!!
@@SinaSoh oh and plus, I plan to get a Rangers cap now, any recommendations? On field cap? Adjustable one?
This was a great year for baseball. As a Twins fan I salute our fellow Senators in winning this title!
Had to revisit 1st thing in 2024! Thank you Rangers!
Congratulations to the Rangers, from a Mariners fan still waiting for their first pennant.
We learned tonight that your team should hire Bruce Bochy!
Thank y'all for Max Weiner. I'm a student at TAMU and our baseball team thanks you
@@ExistenceInTheLaniakeaAs a fan of them, sometimes you have to hate them as well.
Also Sborz with two inning save
It was a ride for this 2023 season
Gives me goosebumps every time
Congrats Rangers from a Cardinals fan. I hope this makes up for 2011.
Only if Freese was on the D-backs lol!! And it does from a life-long Rangers fan.
It did it fucken did 😭😭🤝🏻
I thought the exact same thing too. I kinda wanted the rangers to get their first championship anyways. but with monty and even adolis garcia on their team I was hoping they'd get it. plus after the heartache the fans mustve felt in 2011 I couldn't imagine lol.
Nelson Cruz lost the World Series for the Rangers.
It feels good
Been following the Rangers since they moved to Arlington in 1972....I'm on cloud nine....Congratulations to the team, and all us fans....
For those who don't know about the Rangers franchise, I can sum it up in one sentence... The Diamondback fans may have tears in their eyes, but the Ranger fans have more, MUCH more... Thank you 2023 Rangers, for you have been able to forever erase the nightmare of 2011. 🤠
What happened in 2011?
Try being a guardians fan had the lead and blew it in the bottom of the 9th game 7
@@Dima-xu2qwTexas was 1 strike away TWICE from winning the World Series in game 6, but David Freeze in the 9th hit a triple that Nelson Cruz misplayed. Then, in extras, he hit a walkoff homerun
And thanks to Adolis Garcia, he is not at the top of the all time postseason RBI (21) list any more.@@nategrandusky172
@@Dima-xu2qw....St Louis beat them in 7 games but Texas were one out away twice in game 6 and blew it .....
As a Phillies fan, thank you Rangers for avenging us and congratulations.
Snakes no problem for Texas.
This playoff run and title has an asterisk due to adolis Garcia being on steroids!
It's not about another team avenging you getting beat by a better team. Worst yet, you got beat at home. Call it what you want, there is no such thing as a moral victory. Maybe somebody can send you a participation trophy. Or I'll take a Pic of NLDS trophy and send it to you.
@@H-TownSportz oh wow another Astros fan crying about their daddy. You and the rest of the haters get some money together to buy a father's day gift next year. 🤭🤭
Let's go St Louis Cardinals !!
Way to go!! I knew they could do it. So happy!! ❤⚾💙
Diamondback fan here,
As much as it hurts to see my team lose, it’s honestly much better to see the curse break for the rangers.
Congrats Texas, long overdue. you’ve earned it 🤙
Thank you
The World Series matchup might be bad with a sweep but I hope your won’t be sad
I’m a rangers fan
My fav player is Corbin Carrol
They lost the division on the last day of the season. Swept the 99 win Rays. Swept the #1 seed Orioles. bounced back from a gut punch against their greatest rival and defending world champion, Astros. They go 11-0 on the road to win the World Series. This Rangers teams got that dawg in em.
To be the best, you have to beat the best.
Say it again 😭😤🐶
Eovaldi vs Gallen, stressful stranded bases vs an econimacal no hitter. this was a pitching gem. from a Giants fan, congrats Rangers!
It’s was a disgrace and an absolute farce. Guy takes a no hitter into the 7th and the gd game is tied? That is absurd.
@@axe2grind244farce? Eovaldi managed to fight off and hold off every attempt the D-Backs had to take the lead and probably win. He was bending but not breaking and fighting for the bats to wake up. That's great and suspenseful baseball.
@@troybaxter I wanna call it that without taking a single thing away from Eovaldi if thats even possible. We're not gonna sit here and act like a guy taking a no hitter into the 7th inning in the WS and the game still be tied is a normal thing because it 1000% is not. Sounds insane actually.
@@axe2grind244why not congratulate the efforts of both pitchers?
The Texas Rangers went 11-0 on the road in this postseason. That will probably never happen again. The Texas Rangers are the true “Road Warriors”. Congrats on your 1st World Series Crown.
Been a Ranger fan since ‘87. Good series and good game Dbacks. See y’all again next year
Long term Astros fan here. Let me congratulate the Rangers. The best team won. I don't hate Rangers or their fans and never will, and am proud that they come from the same division. It's a great feeling, and especially when it's your first. As far as I'm concerned, the AL West has the best two best baseball teams in the country, and regardless of having the division title or not, the best team in the division at this moment is without question the Rangers. Again, congratulations, you earned it, and you deserve it.
As a Rangers fan, 2010 felt fair, but 2011 did not. As a guy much smarter than me used to say "that's the way baseball goes."
@@noshjix2163I agree. 2010 felt like a run where we just came up short to a superior team. 2011 felt like we gave it all away when victory was in our grasp.
2010 was disappointing, but 2011 was downright heartbreaking.
As another Giants fan, I must say Bruce Bochy is a legend.
"The Texas Rangers win the world series!!" never thought I would hear those words. Still thriving in it a month later. God blessed texas finally
It all started with that three-game sweep of The Phillies to start the season. That's when you knew this team would be pretty good.
Man o man been a Ranger fan my whole life ❤️ it finally paid off being a loyal fan!
I’m SOOO glad Eric Nadel came back to the radio broadcast so he could call this historic moment!
Hopefully 105.3 posts the comments he and Sandler made about each other after the game. It was truly heartfelt and had me in tears!
Boston fan here, congratulations rangers and tell nasty Nate we miss him.
Thanks! And thank you for getting Ron Washington a ring a couple years
As a Mariners fan, thanks for saying that. This particular result with these two teams is very ironic, considering how our season ended and the chatter around it. Owners can learn from this, but only if they’re open to doing things differently and truly interested in winning, and not just turning a profit.
I am actually happy for the rangers, after so much heartache from their playoffs woes in the past 6-7 years, they deserve this
Great job Rangers!!! (from an Astros fan) Congratulations! Y'all deserve it! World Series Champions!!!
Thanks for being a good sport.
Was only seven years old when Texas lost in heartbreaking fashion in 2011. Makes me really happy, they finally did it!!! Avenging the loss
Huge congrats to the Rangers and a great game to the Diamondbacks! Both underdog teams who made it this far and I'm very proud of them both
As for yall baseball fans, have a safe and happy holidays and see yall in February!
Indeed all the hype about awakenbeerus is real. Have joined his VIP room, the guy really knows something we do not about these matches. the guy is a life changer
they all know it, beerus is a g. F this!
Nathan "BALLS OF STEEL" Eovaldi showing how to work under pressure. Congrats Rangers!
Congratulation on the Texas Rangers winning it all this year
Congrats from Australia. Been a Rangers fan for years and years. I expect a lot of us foreigners got into Baseball as a result of Ken Burn's 'Baseball' documentary series. I've got a mate who is a Texan and so it seemed fitting to barrack for the Rangers. Garcia is a monster. Bochy is a genius and the whole team is pure grit.
Born and raised in the D./FW area, baseball was the only sport I played, Rangers have always been my team. Always had great players, just could never get it done. The heartbreak of 2011, I believed we were cursed or the baseball gods wanted to see us suffer. I am 46 yrs now and was able to witness this finally with my 4 children. My youngest told me he was happy for me because I never seen a Rangers championship until now. What a day for all of us Ranger fans!
Arlington's gonna be partying tonight!!!
Been watching rangers since 72. At the old park in arlington. All the players who went thru texas and never got a ring. Buddy bell nolan ryan pudge Rodriguez tom grieve toby Harrah. Jim bibby. The list goes on. And to finally say we are champions is a great feeling
THE TEXAS RANGERS ARE THE WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FRANCHISE HISTORY🔵⚪️🔴🐂🤟 Congratulations to the Texas Rangers and congratulations to Major League Baseball for an Incredible Season
During the final three outs I FaceTimed my Dad to see his reaction, he was waiting for that final pitch since he as 4 years old, it’s a night I’ll never forget. This team will forever be champions in my heart, go Rangers!!!
Heartfelt congratulations to the Texas Rangers on their triumphant victory! This moment of glory is a powerful testament to the timeless virtues of patience and perseverance!
as a diehard dbacks fan I want to congratulate Texas. I love some of their guys for years. Plus Bochy is great. On the dbacks side It is bittersweet. I'm so proud of them. No one expected it. But we had Texas 4 of the 5 games. blowing it in the ninth. Running through stop signs. Making errors. And most importantly We hit their guys so much but didn't come through. Texas only had a few good innings but they made it work! They capitalized on their chances. I want to see our hitting coach gone and we need to sign 2 hitters. That will get us to the next part.
As a yankees fan,Great Job Rangers for winning!you guys faves everything, injuries and winning games, beat the astros witch im so happy, you guys worked as a team and proved everybody thst youre no underdog and won the world series. And to my d back's,you guys are one of my favorite teams in the national league, you guys proved everyone wrong and came here and tried to win.Im proud of what both teams accomplished this year.Great season and cant wait for next year,Go yankees!and good luck to every team

Congratulations to the Rangers on winning their first title! Very happy for Bochy to do it 13 years to the day he brought the Giants our first one in in the SF era and in over a half century. Great run for the dbacks and they're going to be a problem in the NL West division for years to come.
As a Red Sox fan
Congratulations Rangers. You deserve your WS title. Enjoy it
What an absolute rollercoaster of a post season. I'm 31 years old, my first rangers game was when I was 5 . It's safe to say I've been waiting for this moment for my entire life. Not afraid to admit, I genuinely got choked up when they won tonight.
Same since I was 11. Now 32. Most of my closest friends now do not watch baseball, but they watched it with me tonight. & I was the only one who knew what was going on, though I was explaining the rules.
After the game, my buds & I sat down to have a few beers. That's when I got a little emotional

born and raised in Texas, small town outside of Dallas. I’m glad I’ve been alive to see all my Pro teams win a championship, Cowboys, Stars, Mavericks, now Finally Texas Rangers! such a great series win!
Astros fan but congrats Texas... been so close so many times, great to see Rangers finally win it. Also it's always a little comforting to know you went out to the eventual champions
Nathan Eovaldi is the type of pitcher who can take on the fight and cruise through it, what an amazing mentality!
Congrats to the Rangers from Vietnam. Been a fan since '11, just when the heartbreak happened and things started going downhill. Loved the team, Hammy and Yu to the point I made my mom knit a team scarf back when merch was quite out of reach financially. Went through the horrors that were 2014 and the turn of the decade. And now that my mother is no longer here with me and the knit scarf, watching Texas finally winning it all was just overwhelming. I'm forever grateful.
LET'S GO RANGERS!!!! CHAMPS AT LAST!!!!
I was 11 in 2011 and i watched the games with my mom and dad. My mom is also gone i really wish she could have seen this
