Dodger fan here. I'm so happy to see the Rangers on top. The series against the Astros was great. It was nice to see the Rangers make their run all the way to the top and seeing Seager take MVP again. That game 1 was as legendary as the 1988 game 1 WS if not better. Great to see the team and their fans enjoy the moment and celebration.

I was at the very first Texas Rangers game 52 years ago and there were MANY days it seemed like this would NEVER happen, especially after Nelson Cruz blew the catch in the 9th against the Cardinals in 2011. Honestly getting that close and LOSING (not getting beat, but LOSING) hurt far worse than the 2010 loss to the Giants. But Arizona played great baseball and you fans were also fantastic in pulling for your guys. While clearly Arizona was the opponent, it never felt like y'all were adversaries; very different feeling than playing those jerks from Houston. So thanks for being great baseball fans and keep it up. You've got a great core group and it looks like they'll just keep getting better and better. I hope we see you guys again next fall!

Just surreal. Can't believe we finally did it. Dbacks had a great season and that pennant hangs in the raftors forever. They can be very proud. It was just the Rangers' year (finally!!) What a season, what a team.
Nothing made me happier then hearing Eric Nadel say the rangers are the World Series champions. Us as rangers fans have been through so many ups and downs with this organization. Next year will be more dominant. We will repeat.
It's very possible especially given that Langford is going to be another outfielder for us and Degrom will be back

I am a Korean who loves baseball. Congratulations to the Texas Rangers on winning the World Series. The Rangers' entire postseason game was a great game. I cheered for the Rangers because it was a team that had Chan-Ho Park and Shin-Soo Choo. Congratulations once again to the Rangers on winning the World Series!

Zac gallen's curveball is a filthy force to be reckoned with. I was really feeling like we would not be able to hit off him or that pitch in game 5. Props to him. I'm sure the rangers would love to have him on the team

No rivalry? Houston and Dallas are as much rivals as Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees, LA Dodgers and SF Giants, and Cardinals and Cubs. It is not their fault MLB took forever to place them into the same league and division so the history is not as long, but that does not lessen that rivalry. Just those not living in Texas don’t realize and appreciate it.
You have to have a history between the teams or cities to have a great rivalry. The teams are in opposite leagues and play few games between each other. Arizona has only been in the majors for about 25 years. Not the 100 plus years of many east coast teams. Texas was an expansion team from the early ‘60s, about 60 years or so. For teams in different leagues to have a great rivalry, they must meet each other often. That does not happen when both teams get to the World Series so infrequently. But they do have huge rivalries with teams in their same division and league. That’s why the chase for the pennant has greater rivalries.
Just know somewhere right now at this very moment.

Sammy Sosa, Josh Hamilton, Alex Rodriguez, Nolan Ryan, Rafael Palmeiro, Pudge Rodriguez, Juan Gonzalez, Ian Kinsler, Ferguson Jenkins, Adrian Beltre, and Charlie Hough. Not have them gave the Rangers a Ring. But, this team after 63 years and the team in all combined types of professional sports to have the current longest existence without being a champion 🏆 delivered. Honestly in my opinion this the first would series since 2010 where both teams caught me off guard and made the world series.

The Diamond Backs shut down in game 4. So many 3rd called strikes and errors.
To millions and of millions of Rangers fans in the Metroplex and beyond, winning the World Series was a mirage, until it happened. We watched as east and left coasties whined that the World Series didn't have their teams playing.
It was soooo satisfying watching the Dbacks struggle and lose in such embarrassing fashion🤣 🤣 then Dusty Toad Face Baker retiring and the Astros losing to the Rangers of all teams helped cure baseball! Congrats Rangers!

Anybody mad about the balls called strikes, you don’t know great catching. Jonah Heim is an all-star catcher for a reason. During the regular season the Rangers led the league in balls called strikes, not all those umpires were bad. I agree officiating was bad this series but it was bad for both teams and benefited the D-Backs more. Go Rangers!!!
So I’ll be honest, the umpire in all 5 games was absolutely horrendous and especially that one call way off the plate that Leclerc threw that should have been a ball (however remember a strike in the same at bat was also called a ball! So it evened out. Plus the d backs committed several mental errors . In the biggest stage a small error makes the biggest difference

Honestly probably one of the most boring World Series of all time in my opinion. There was no tension between the 2 teams, no rivalry, and the series ended in 5 games. The only actual entertaining game was game 1.

I forgot the post season was a popularity concert with hipster bandwagons crying for match ups. If you wanted your team matching up for something interesting then they should’ve played better. Rangers stumbled in the wild card, everyone wrote us out, we swept the 2nd and 1st rays and orioles when bombi destroyed the Astros while we went undefeated 11-0 to win our first ring. Want a better match up? Tell the Astros and Phillies not to choke in the post season 🖐️ 🎤

@user-vx5qg7hj5t The Rangers had the 10th highest payroll in the majors to start 2023. Yes, when you sign guys to long-term deals they are going to be expensive. Let's not act like 30 million a year for a top-tier player in Seager is buying a World Series. So yes you can point to how much the contracts were worth total or you can talk about the yearly average salary for those guys which gets you to 10th in the majors. The Astros for example started the year at 11th. Bregman and Altue were both making 30mil this year. Exact same as Seager. So yes we can stop with the Rangers bought a ring nonsense.

They implemented a pitch clock so everything is at a faster pace. Makes the game more watchable in my opinion!
@@redmaengda I was born 60 years ago. When I was young, baseball was more wholesome. Players were (or at least seemed) morally righteous and honest, decent people. Professional athletes have become immoral, indecent. Toting guns, doing/dealing drugs, beating up women, having a bunch of children they don’t want (abandoning them or worse). Terrible role models. Steroids anyone?
Even if there ARE still some good people in pro sports, they’re few and far between.
