I live about 2 miles from globe life field, i was out on the porch watching the final innings, HOLY SHOOT ! even with the top being closed we heard and felt that 9th and 11th inning. I am beyond proud to be a Rangers fan! also proud of the D-Backs really sticking in there, this series is going to be a nail-biter!
Lived right here by the ballpark in Arlington my whole life, my elementary school would take us to Ranger’s games for perfect attendance. There’s an understated love for this team here, it’s impossible to explain. But after the insane series with the Astros, all we could ever ask for as baseball fans and Rangers fans is that the WS is just as exciting. I don’t know if it’s possible to produce six more games like this one, just unbelievable. Most fun I’ve had watching the game in a while, best of luck to the sneaky Diamondbacks… anxious to see their retaliation. Man are we blessed as fans.

I thought last year's game 1 was gonna be tough to beat but this extra innings nail biter was way better! more drama, bigger moments and both teams came to play!
I already thought it was a great game after only the first six innings. It became phenomenal in the nineth. And beyond that. This will be great WS to watch even as a European, as all games will be night work.

Astros fan here, I really hope the Rangers can win this WS after they came so close when they had Beltre, Cruz, Hamilton, Andrus & Napoli in the early 2010s. I really want them to win their first championship this year. This was a great game!
That team was stacked lol got beat by San Fran fair and square in 2010 , and got beat by the cardinals in a nail biter that seemed like the baseball gods didn’t want the rangers to win 😂 . All Nelly Cruz had to do was catch that ball 😭😭😭 still hurts
2012 too. Blew divsion title. As won tje AL West. Then Orioles beat Texas on the road in WC. Still makes me mad.

For most of MLB history, teams ability to "manufacturing" runs used to be key to postseason success...Well that and good starting pitching.
During the 90s and 00s most of the teams offense built around HRs struggled in October.

Amazing game. As a Rangers fan this doesn't lessen the pain of a dozen years ago that night but it is fabulous in its own right. And the highlights are edited so well, not like for typical games.
As a casual fan,This is what I always thought baseball would be like. Excitement big plays and clutch moments.

Red Sox fan through and through and I have to admit that was the best ending I had ever seen. It was like all aligned itself for that amazing outcome and Adolis Garcia was not going to disappoint. I wonder if ever anyone got hit by a pitch and hit a homer in back to back games? Never mind the fact it was in game 7 of the NLDS and the first game of the World Series.
Let's take a moment to appreciate the Rangers' bullpen for stepping up. 6.1 innings, 2 hits, zero walks, zero runs. And Jon Gray comes out of nowhere to strike out the side in the 8th!
