That is the point With masculine archetypes it is like this too We all embody every archetype, it is up to us to find which one is dominant or has it's grip on us at that moment I hope I am good enough at illuminating this
So this is something that I've been curious about - partly due to my lack of guidance from some of the people in my life. I really appreciate your breakdown of the different archetypes, and I can definitely relate to a lot/identify the ways in which I have acted them out. One thing that I've found (and I'm not sure if you've covered) it is that there is a great misconception about the heroine's tale. Jordan Peterson posits that a woman's ascent to maturity is by taming the "beastly" nature of a man, as outlined in Beauty and the Beast. But this is wrong as it again puts the entire focus on a weird kind of subservience to a man, the whole of the story being that she involuntarily gives up her life and rescues him. I think the better explanation for the maturity of a woman is outlined in the story of Eros and Psyche. Idk if you've covered this already, but I would be interested in hearing your take on it.
I absolutely loved this video. I almost in tears after watching. I can walk away with a different and better understanding of myself and I how love and have empathy for myself. This was awesome. YOU are awesome
Having an ex with borderline personality disorder this passage hit me the hardest "Persephone’s shadow expresses a woman’s tendency toward passivity, naivety, and a need to please and be wanted by others. She is the puella aeterna who doesn’t commit herself to anything or anyone (be it work, education or a relationship), because making a definite choice eliminates other possibilities. Persephone’s shadow is embodied in the woman who is so indecisive that she waits for something or someone to transform her life, like a girl waiting for her prince to come and be eternally in love and live happily ever after. If she finds him, however, she is quickly disappointed and finds that reality is nothing like her fantasy. In her book, The Way of All Women, Jungian analyst Esther Harding describes this type as the “anima woman”, who receives the projection of a man’s anima and conforms to the image. She “adapts herself to her man’s wishes, makes herself beautiful in his eyes, charms him, pleases him.” She is “generally unselfconscious, she doesn’t analyse herself or her motives; she just is; and for the most part she is inarticulate.” In other words, it is her pattern to unconsciously conform to what a man wants her to be."
I recognize this very well in myself. It is very painful actually on both parties. I appreciate that he said that if a person can come out of this, they know both life and death. I think there is much wisdom that comes from perpetually putting yourself in the dark until you learn what you need to learn.
I struggle with codependency, but I guess the difference between a borderline and codependent person, is becoming dilusioned with your partner. I don't just stop loving someone because they upset or got me angry..
All personality disorders are persistent and consistent expressions of extreme aspects of the human character that is within all of us. In short, an archetypal possession. Diagnoses are sometimes helpful and sometimes more debilitating. Like, never read a DSM if you have lived a full life but don't have much training in it's contents, the urge to say, "Oh god/goddess, I do that too" is intense.
I've been a big fan of the channel for years now and it's great to see such a thoughtful video about various mental and life aspects about women. I've always found women to be weirdly interesting since I've had a great relationship with my mom and my sister and many of my female friends. Feminine archetypes being displayed like this gave me a lot of insight and a new perspective on something thats usually a sensitive subject to delve into. Also I'm a big fan of using words like Immaturity and Virginity in their most literal forms rather than those words typically being associated with childishness/unintelligent and sex
I feel like the video encompasses a lot more information than just “immaturity” in the feminine so I think the video could use a better title but thank you SO much for this!!❤ Amazing video. I identify with many traits of each woman except Hera. Been there, done that & I’m so much more whole within myself than I ever was in marriage. Persephone’s archetype was the most shockingly accurate of them all to who I am & secondly, Aphrodite. I absolutely loved learning from this video! Thank you again ❤🎉

28:43 Hera as the marriage archetype also represents a mystical striving for wholeness through a hieros gamos (sacred marriage). Just as marriage involves a physical union, it also encompasses a spiritual connection, where man and woman become one flesh, achieving a greater sense of wholeness than they would alone. In alchemy, it is represented as the union of King and Queen (the central masculine and feminine archetypes), and is known as the coniunctio, the final stage in which the philosophers’ stone is created.

I feel your comment my friend. Ever since the emotional abuse by my ex somewhat paradoxically I started to be not only extremely anxious around women but extremely anxious of anything that puts into light the negative aspect of feminity.
It is part of the healing process. Women aren't evil, but just as anyone they are capable of great harm and evil. ”True salvation comes when you know the truth, that true evil only serves itself and humans are only a means to its end. Evil cannot create but only destroy, and there for no knows no achievement or happiness. Those who enjoy pleasure in others suffering will never know true happiness, it is within this that it is indeed a lie.” "Evil strikes you, infects you with hate and contempt, and then it makes you part of it. While making you think that fighting your enemies will bring you salvation. It won't, you are only serving evil. You don't fight them because *you* choice to, but because what they did, that makes you, and so they control you. That's how, evil controls you. Your best defense is no hate, no anger, no attention. Choose your own will, don't let them control you."
@@sebastiaanstok I understand this, either way my body remembers the gender of my abusers. Society lacks accountability for women while men ridicule and crack jokes at your abuse. As a male abuse victim it is lonely. I’ve always understood it is people who are abusive not one specific gender. The issue is how society as a whole treats men and women differently. Pheromones, chemicals and fields of the body have a huge factor in the reaction a PTSD victim will have. My mind knows the truth, my body reacts to the material world.
That is actually really insightful, thank you for this. Dealing with women is, indeed, mostly a challenge to me, because so much is so...how should I say, vague, maybe? It's so challenging to distinguish what their persona or even ego and what their self is. But this, this has surely helped me, especially understanding my mother, who I'd say has a prominent Demeter shadow but overall well managed Demeter persona and my sister, who somehow drifts between an Artemis, I'd say as a persona and a Persephone as her actual self, shadow included, though there'd be much more to say...anyway, thank you for this!
@TrentAdam I see you've gained insights on that issue much more profound than the ideas that I currently hold...do you care to share with me your wisdom or is your intention of commenting solely to be found in a longing to being as insufferable as it is humanly possible?

Because it’s a woman focusing on finding her mate or partner?! Yet you tout Athena? Heh keep your immature poisonous feminist bias away from here and let people think for themselves.
I used to be a Jungian fan of course the relationships he went against ethically with his clients changed my opinion. He’s still a landmark. However, at 75 and knowing about other female figures, like in the Hindus or even the Buddhist, which is far and few between like Tara. Yes there are other Psyche‘s to embrace, and granted that it’s a different culture. We have really made the world small and you can reach out and touch someone clear across the planet itself so therefore these Psyche’s of the feminine. Have ingrained themselves in us as well. It’s not just the Greek and Roman, etc. for example I also have a kindred spirit alignment with the Scottish crone; that being said I would like to see you do the same thing here as in other cultures, etc..
This is a reminder never to read the comments. Instead of being informed and feeling empathy, wanting to assist in ones transformation, comments are full of hate or victims. Another great video.
Grouping is a construct created by emotionally immature people, its the whole "external locus of control" bit. By blaming someone or something else other than ourselves we are rescued from having to confront ourselves. imo if we are watching these videos from Eternalised then we're ready to put in the work of assuming mastery over our lives.
The genders are inherently different, the same behavior in both can lead to wildly different situations. The separation was in place before any of us were even present to perceive it.
@@MrSaphenGrouping is a sign that someone is dominated in Social instinct,There is nothing conscious about instincts, they are basic automatic drives that guide our behaviours.
My shadow side (two sides of the same coin) is masculine and doesn’t see sex or gender either which creates this smoke behind me that brings a sense of intimidation. I think men and boys have an air of curiosity when women or girls have masculinity internally and externally. I physically look 50/50 feminine and masculine. I have received negative and positive commentary on my physical appearance and character. Whether it was direct or indirect. I use to be offended, but now I’m not because I understand myself in a way I couldn’t in the past. I think women and girls even if I was born 100% biologically a man would recommend that you should strive to add masculinity to yourself. I was raised with a toxic mom figure, she essentially embodies the toxic masculinity from men while appearing like a woman. Deceptive. I would battle with her on a field the same way I would with my dad. That’s how middle ground I am.
Lol, you can ALWAYS find the defensive in the comments. Y'all are so driven by consumerism you can't comprehend that nothing is "personal", it's simply exploitable. If you want to get real, words have no inherent meaning, neither good nor bad, other than what YOU identify with. You tell on yourselves is what I'm saying.

”True salvation comes when you know the truth, that true evil only serves itself and humans are only a means to its end. Evil cannot create but only destroy, and there for no knows no achievement or happiness. Those who enjoy pleasure in others suffering will never know true happiness, it is within this that it is indeed a lie.”
"Evil strikes you, infects you with hate and contempt, and then it makes you part of it.
Love to you beautiful soul and I'm sorry for what you've been through.
So instead of working on attracting a woman you're just going to call them all too vague and worry about mythological crap?
@TrentAdam I see you've gained insights on that issue much more profound than the ideas that I currently hold...do you care to share with me your wisdom or is your intention of commenting solely to be found in a longing to being as insufferable as it is humanly possible?
@@whyamisad5740answering why you’re sad is not that important. Whats more important is that you are feeling sad, detached, and confused. Forget about attracting women, you need connect with yourself
Watching these makes you feel somewhat reassured in your beliefs but also closing you off from other possibilities. Still cool though.
❤❤❤ Respect ! You work is really amazing you help more you know and world be better place if we study this schools.Time is change ! Thank you!
You just excelled yourself. Your content has always been a jewel on the internet, but this video we can walk through a deep introspection and observation. Amazing!!!! Keep it going.

This is fascinating.
finally he’s back.
Now here’s something I’ve been curious about!
great video, thanks
I’m your biggest fan 🖤🖤
No sorry that position is filled 😅
I DESPISE the Hera archetype with all my heart!! I found a bit of myself in each of the virgin Goddesses, specially Athena and Artemis.
Because it’s a woman focusing on finding her mate or partner?! Yet you tout Athena? Heh keep your immature poisonous feminist bias away from here and let people think for themselves.
Ur such a boss bro, ur bida allways rock! ❤ love from Porto.
Thank you for exploring the feminine …perfect video
This channel is the best! 🤓
your videos are my favorite. is there a chance that a video about misanthropy could happen? im really curious.
We war not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers of the air.
What did Jung do that was unethical?
Elaborate on Jung's proposed ethical values?
Wow. Beautiful content.
You’re always cookin’! 🍳
Love topics like this.
Can you do a video and the game chess and its origin aswell as how it can related to life?
Good idea.
Gosh I wish I'd known all this when I was young!
Thank you, much appreciated ❤ ☯️
Schopenhauer nailed it in his women essay
Wooo! I'm ready!
I feel called out by the title....
Well, I can relate to all these archetypes so I guess I'm doomed LOL. Very insightful
What's the name of the painting shown at 1:42?
The Scream :)
19:55 LET'S GOOOOO ELDEN RING REFERENCED!!!
This is a reminder never to read the comments. Instead of being informed and feeling empathy, wanting to assist in ones transformation, comments are full of hate or victims. Another great video.
A reflection of the times
> Reminder to never read the comments
> It's in the comments
🤡
Thank you.
The dark tricksters are everywhere
@@lieugon People who read this already read comments and why would they listen to this anyway? You guys make no sense.
There’s so much truth here. Some behaviours I’ve observed in myself, as a man. What is the advantage of grouping by gender? Genuinely wondering.
Grouping is the basis of consciousness
The genders are inherently different, the same behavior in both can lead to wildly different situations. The separation was in place before any of us were even present to perceive it.
@@MrSaphenGrouping is a sign that someone is dominated in Social instinct,There is nothing conscious about instincts, they are basic automatic drives that guide our behaviours.
I am a Hestia :')
❤ THANK YOU ❤
Just watch it at don’t look at the comments? Why sabotage the excitement with looking at the inevitable political comments?
You have control 👍
Thanks. I needed to read this.

fyi, epitome is four syllables

well done
Excellent
People always talk about toxic masculinity or how good men have it. Finally something somewhat negative about femininity.
True but as negativity goes truth is not negative, I see it as an absolute positive.
Lol, you can ALWAYS find the defensive in the comments.
Y'all are so driven by consumerism you can't comprehend that nothing is "personal", it's simply exploitable.
If you want to get real, words have no inherent meaning, neither good nor bad, other than what YOU identify with.
You tell on yourselves is what I'm saying.
... the inner masculine and feminine exist in everyone. It's not a gender based phenomenon.
For a long time women were considered attractive if they had no ideas and remained child like.
@@FayAlexGGwhat im getting from this is you jumbling words around to sound smart. Truth is neutral until we interpret it however we want.
Not me opening my eyes wide seeing this. Clicked so fast bc I know this is me rn. I think.
