    Ive watched a lot of videos with 3rd Gen Tacoma trucks ever since I bought mine.(2017 TRD Off Road). This video is the only one ive seen that truly shows the capability of these trucks as an IFS vehicle. Now I realize the driving skills are not possessed by all of us but its nice to see the Tacoma in this extreme environment. Im satisfied that my truck will do everything i will ask it to do. Love this video...Too bad I can only like it once , HA !!! Oh yeah , you guys can flat drive too ! super cool.

    All I can say, watching this video was insane as a membrane... I just got my 2017 Taco TRD Off Road, 3 days ago. I specifically bought it for hunting in Michigan. I was looking at some of the terrain you guys taking these trucks on, and this video... I just ran outside, and hugged my Truck... :-( I ain't gonna do that to you Maybelline... I'm pretty sure I wouldn't risk my own toy but it sure is cool watching ya'll do it. Not really when you have to add a lift 35-37 inch tires remote reservoir shocks and thousands of more dollars on bumpers as to not scratch when you bottom out. Not really designed more of spending thousands to make it capable

    • @j0shll0yd
      @j0shll0yd 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I wouldn’t say “truly designed”. Considering Toyota can’t reprogram your speedo for bigger tires, and you have to chop frames & wheel well liners for bigger tires.

    You all make extremely technical and grueling off-road driving look easy.
    I was glued to every inch, up and down trails you ventured through, I'd never dare to go.
    Maybe you can talk about the way you make it happen behind the wheel and how you determine your line and ground placement from a driver's view.
    The other thing would be all the special modifications that help make it happen, or is it all about skill and courage?
    Great footage.

I've done a lot of crawling myself here in AZ and when I saw what lines you took through some of those areas, I was cringing. But...I do understand that what I see in the vid is only a very limited view of the trail and that video & pics of a trail never show them true to being there.

    Brave souls for driving those tacos through those tight spaces. I would thought a few times it was sketchy! Is the about the limit of off roadness the trucks are up to? Everyone has 35” tires on the truck with a 3” lift? I don’t think a stock taco could negotiate the technical sections without damage or a very experienced driver with luck?

    Amazing truck. Do you have any video, ig post or something listing your mods? (lift, exhaust, tires etc)

    0:36 reminds of the puppy struggling to climb up a ledge or a couch. Little legs going but just can’t quite make it

    Awesome! Just got my taco a couple of weeks ago 2018 TRD offroad 4x4. I hit up azusa canyon today. I have no mods yet, but will soon, any suggestions for cool spots I can go before I get any mods?
