Kaci, I love your new intro that should be your new intro every video. It’s so beautiful with the drone and you walking and knitting that’s so beautiful Kaci
What a lovely video with beautiful scenery! I’m knitting a handsome Chris all over cabled sweater for my partner. I started it in May and it has been my main project. I hope I can finish before Christmas 🤞
Loved your video. And I just bought the same dress pattern. Looking forward to sewing it up after the holidays! Merry Christmas to you and your family. 🥰
When I knit with splitty yarn (I’ve used that one too) I switch to blunt tip needles - I have a set of Addi Turbos for that exact purpose - they are fast too,and are certainly a life (yarn?) saver. haha
Your Pinafore really suits you! I'd make a dozen if I looked that nice in it! Your sweater looks super warm and will be great on a snowy day! Mittens are difficult for me to make the exact same size. As long as they don't fall off I guess I'll try not to let it bug me. Ha! Great vlog .
The opening footage of your morning walk calms my soul. So beautiful and peaceful looking! 💯% agree about The Wild Robot. My grandkids and I read the books first then saw the movie. Tears all around. Praying for a calm, relaxing, blessed Christmas and New Year for you and yours. I always look forward to your podcast 😊
The dress with a waistline looks so flattering on you. You look so pretty. I’m thinking of doing the alumni. I’m finishing the Celeste and am ready for another colorwork. I’m going to start the Port jacket also. I think they have different types of knitting, so I could go from one to the other depending on the situation.
LisaR- Just have to comment on your videography ..It's magnificent - Id compare to the privilege of experiencing a live musician & getting goosebumps ( in a good way :)!
I love your new jumper! The colors are so pretty and you look very stylish. I loved the moodiness of the beginning of your video with the fog and the somber music. Hopefully you felt some closure with turning some WIPs into FOs. I had to stop my personal knitting and focus on a baby blanket for a couple at church. I'll be excited to pick up my own projects again in the new year. ❤🧶
I don’t love the Isager eco baby yarn for the same reason- it’s so soft and plushy but it is the chainette construction and so the yarn catches on my needles and the stitch definition is a bit muddled and it’s really stretchy so kind of hard to tension. It knits up kind of like a bouclé even though it’s not. I think it would be fun for baby clothes and toys but was too stretchy for larger items in my opinion and a little hard to work with- very similar to the yarn you used for your Lume sweater except it’s alpaca/cotton blend instead of alpaca/wool.
I am furiously trying to finish the Brighton Pullover by Véronik Avery in Purl Soho's Linen Quill. I am knitting the sleeves together and I am almost to the cap shaping. This is a Christmas gift for my grown son and I am wondering if I will be wrapping the pieces and putting it together later!
Kaci, the Ginko Pinafore is so flattering on you! Sitting with nature is so good for the soul.
Kaci, I love your new intro that should be your new intro every video. It’s so beautiful with the drone and you walking and knitting that’s so beautiful Kaci
I love geese. They always sound SO happy that I can’t help but stop, watch, and smile.😊
Me too! I love watching them too!
Love your outfit and your hair! Looks great!

That's the spirit! Haha and same. My mittens don’t usually turn out the same size 😭
Beautiful video as always ;-)
Thank you so much!

The intro is giving me Anne of Green Gables vibes ❤
I love the 1980s Anne of green gables!
What a beautiful & serene intro! Thank you! 😊
I'm glad you liked it! Than you so much
I love the Suave clarifying shampoo 🎉
Haha yesss!!!!
I’m trying to finish the traveler hoodie by Andrea mowry. By the end of this year.
That’s an excellent one!
Merry Christmas Kaci…I’ve been working on gift knits mainly hats and Sofie scarves. I can’t wait to get back to working on my sweater, vest and socks😊
At least hats and Sophie scarves are lovely to knit!

A baby blanket is so satisfying 😊
I had the same experience with catching and splitting with the yarn. Drove me nuts. My final product did turn out beautifully, though,
Totally worth it, though? That is good to hear!

It’s definitely a tricky yarn to work with!

It sounds like you're in the home stretch!
Love your Lumme pullover! Also... that teapot?! Where did you get that? :)
That foggy morning is just beautiful ❤️ Does your husband do it with a drone? It's just so moody and the colors are amazing
Yes he does!!! Thank you
I'm in love with the sweater you are wearing during your haircut section. If you wouldn't mind telling me the name of the pattern. Thank you.
Thank you! It’s an old navy purchase from a few years ago. Sorry :(
Lol I'm not to the end but I gave myself bangs it's been 30 years. I like them but will probably grow them out again 😂
Bangs are my arch nemesis 😂
Wait until you see how much it peels 😢
Not using chain yarns in garments anymore. 😅
Oh no!!!
Is that spinner good for beginners? I'm so tempted to start and get one but I don't know if it would suit me given I've never spinned before.
I think so! They have great TH-cam videos on setting it up and using it!
My mittens never come out the same size. Sigh.
