Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl is my all time favorite book… And JCC books especially Family is my second favorite … I was profoundly moved by both of these books and I read them decades ago…

The first book was made into a movie with Steve Martin called A simple twists of fate. Which was a good film in my opinion.

love a good short book. didn't know Holly Golightly was a prostitute and Gatsby was so short. The Women of Brewsters Place is classic.
