It's weird how well their songs held up. You'd think that a rap-rock band with a DJ would have aged like milk, but somehow Linkin Park's music from 20 years ago still slaps.
@@arakneg8990well it also helps Chester and Mike had an unbelievable and uncommon ability to write lyrics that speak to your soul. Doesn’t even matter if people like the music, there’s so much soul in the lyrics it’s undeniable.
@@Nop3.1 their lyrics are so catchy and basic especially for their hit songs what are you talking about. It’s the primary reason they have so many radio hits. Watch reactors where English is not their first language they have no Trouble following the lyrics without reading them. Why are you people so sentive to the truth. Linkin park is one of the most radio friendly bands ever and it’s not a bad thing Jesus
Absolutely amazing reaction. And you did it the best way, with just listening to it all the way through. Hope you do more linkin park, so many phenomenal tracks. Keep being awesome
given up, leave out all the rest, lost in the echo, castle of glass, a light that never comes, guilty all the same, in my remains, burn it down, faint, breaking the habit, in the end, what i've done, a place for my head, somewhere i belong, i'll be gone, one step closer, papercut, catalyst, blackout, no more sorrow
Highly recommend listening to 'Lost' next if wish to check another one of their songs, it was previously not released as was too similar to other songs on the meteor album i believe, but was released by the band shortly after Chester passing for remembrance of him. It is an amazing song, and one I am sure he would of loved to of seen everyone hear :)
It must be amazing starting the LP journey, I wish I could do it all over again. Every song from the first 2 albums are just perfect. I know there were other Nu-Metal bands when Hybrid Theory came out, but there was nobody quite like them, they were and still are really unique. You really know an LP song when you hear it. They just have their own sound…greatest band ever for me! You’ll be an LP Soldier before ya know it! ❤
Would highly recommend Faint by Linkin Park. It shows a more hip hop and rock side of them. Would also recommend Nobody’s Listening which is more of a Japanese influence version of Hip Hop given that their backup vocalist/rapper is half Japanese (Mike Shinoda). Great reaction!!!
Your eyes tell the whole story while watching this music video. =) Welcome to our world! =) I am glad you are experiencing what we experienced 20 plus years ago when we first got to watch "Crawling" by Linkin Park
Keep in mind as you interpret these lyrics that Chester didn't write most of them. Mike has always been the lyricist of the band, and he wrote the majority of their lyrics. Chester had a bigger hand in this one than in most of their other songs, but it's not about abuse, it's about feelings of insecurity and inadequacy.
For imo the quintessential Linkin Park experience, you should listen to the entire A Thousand Suns album in one sitting. You don’t have to do it for a video, but that will give you a unique experience
I really think you should give it a try and listen to the whole album. Hybrid Theory is a picture. If you listen to one song, you just get a part of the whole, you know?
You should react to the whole 2003 live in Texas, they were at their peak and Chester literally sang better than the studio versions, there's the full lenght video in their YT official channel
This was pre recorded before I uploaded my newer Linkin park reactions and this music video was also recommended a lot for me to react to so yes I do listen to my comments, have a good day ☺️
Linkin Park existed until Chester uh....... got suicided so there is no Linkin Park anymore! The new one is nothing but feminist garbage! Linkin Park is still dead! Their old songs are great! I have a lot to say on this but i would like to keep my channel. For now.
Yo calm down. Linkin Park didn't die with Chester, as great as he was. The Band was more than him, they evolved, they still sound like Linkin Park. A different one, but unmistakably LP. It's a more angry and less hurt Linkin Park. With great songs.
@@yourframedrop It died to me and many others who were fans since day one! Fucking disrespectful to Chester's legacy to replace him with a woman! Could have find some dude or leave it alone! Not turn it into....this! Angry is good!

Music which quality mostly relies on vocals always ages better, no matter the genre.

They have basic lyrics so their music isn’t dated
@ there’s nothing basic about their music.

highly recommend watching the version from the One More Light concert... so powerful.
not powerful, at all. Powerless version. Sad, but true.
Absolutely love that version. I’d highly recommend Amy reacting to that one, and Rolling In The Deep cover too! ❤
Such a boring version

these two were magnificent together! an incredible combination of style and voice.

this song was just so so hard to sing that only chester can, yes i watch somebody cover it but no it's not even close
Gracias por tu reaccion 👍👍👍

Next time Pantera,please!

Hi Amy!
I don't think anyone can sing like Chester!
React to Breaking the Habit by Linkin Park. This is a really good song. It talks about chester's alcohol and drug addiction
Thank you for allowing the video to play with hardly any pausing and excessive talking.

React to bleed it out, give up, two faced or somewhere i bellong
next reaction avanged sevenfold gunslinger
idk if I'm hearing things but I think your playback speed isn't set to normal it sounds sped up
Pls react to Friendly Fire by Linkin Park
Is the song sped up? The pitch sounds higher.
I don’t think it’s sped up but it’s definitely pitched up. Probably to avoid copyright
It's defitenely sped up.
I felt the same with her previous reaction, I hope it's only for the video and not what she actually is listening to!
Whenever I download the videos off of TH-cam it automatically saves them like this and I have no idea why but I am looking into fixing it :)
I don’t listen to the music sped up :)
is this sped up or am i getting old?
Old
Na its speed up slightly I agree. 😵😵
Definitely sped up
Hi Amy! Please, can you check this song: SixOY - Ghosts of Yesterday
