With Photos and the Memory maker using AI, it doesnt seem to work for me and when I click 'Create' it hangs that it needs to download additional files even though Apple Intelligence is enabled. Let me know if you are getting the same problem? You will see the problem on my iOS18.1 video I made today.

I was just about to comment this. You beat me to it. You do have to go under “Respiratory”, and then it’s there under “Breathing Disturbances”. It is on iOS 18.0
@@richardlanham4415 one would think, but nope. lol. It’s under browse, respiratory, scroll down to sleep apnea notifications, tap that, scroll all the way to the bottom and then you manually have to switch it on for it to appear
So I updated iPhone 14 Pro Max to the current public beta for 18.1 and it broke wired CarPlay for me. Feedback submitted, validated that it works on a separate phone running 18.0.

been waiting for this video since i got the notification to update my phone to this beta and so far it seems smoother and a bit less buggy than 18.1 beta 4 and it does seem they have fixed the bug where the apps weren’t matching on the home screen to spotlight or vise versa specifically for the tinting feature
With iOS 18.1 beta 4 I had to reset my network settings at least once per day or cellular (Telus) would permanently drop. Praying this is fixed! 15 Pro would indicate 5G+ and never actually connect to a cell tower.
Hi Aaron, I'm just testing out my iPhone 16 Pro Max camera. Are you seeing an option for ProRes SDR under Camera Settings > Format? Also, I found an issue where macro mode won’t work at 4K 30fps with ProRes off-the screen just freezes.
So, I had a bit of a rough time with the transfer from my 14 pm to my 16 pm. It got stuck halfway through and seemed like it was done, but then I started freezing every time I tried to use the 16. I had to retransfer the eSIM back to my old phone and then tried resetting the new phone to factory settings multiple times before it finally worked. Apparently, many others were having the same issue with the iCloud restore method. But hey, it’s all good now! And by the way, that video you shared was awesome!
Aaron can you tell Apple to let users keep apps forever? some apps disappear from the app store thus rendering the treasured app a user may have installed (even if purchased) useless/dead.
I don’t have any music bugs whatsoever. I’ve heard of a few people having them, but I’ve never experienced it myself with the update. You might want to try resetting some settings to see if it fixes it.
Is anyone else experiencing the bug where when you press and hold the area of screen on the border, the rest of the display becomes unresponsive? AFAIK this is only happening on the iPhone 16s.
I’m on the 16 Pro Max. I unboxed, and the battery was at 85%. It’s now at 25%, and I have 6.5 hours of Screen Active time. Cycle Count just went up to «1», even though I haven’t charged the iPhone yet 😂. Okay-ish battery life.

For me at least in the uk, sleep apnea detection had a pop up and was enabled on day one of the series ten being out on the public watchOS 11.0. Breathing disturbances are now a section in the health app for me. 6:40
Has anyone else noticed that iOS 18 doesn’t display banner for Messages in car? It will if CarPlay is open on radio screen but won’t if CarPlay is running in background and you’re listening to FM/XM radio. It worked fine in iOS 17 but not in 18. Tested via multiple iPhones in multiple cars. I’ve reported the bug via Feedback to Apple.
We need the iOS 18.0.1 update. There are many small errors with iOS 18 on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. Among other things, the camera control does not open with a single press. I have it on open with one press, but I have to press twice to open.
Is the bug of the new dynamic wallpaper that if you have the new dynamic wallpaper blurred on your home screen, it doesn't change colors throughout the day?
why is it good to switch to selfie mode when the button to do it is exactly on screen there your thumb is, whats the point its slower using the camera button

maybe i missed this in a previous 18.1 beta video, but when i push and hold my side button, it ONLY prompts me to type to siri, never the glowing perimeter for talking to siri. yes, i have the button toggled on, and yes, ive tried to toggle the button off, reset, toggle back on, reset, none of it activates push and hold to talk to siri. ive sent in feedback about this and still i see no update for that to work.
I wanna ask, is Apple Intelligence coming to Mac in EU? I’m hearing reports of this but I’m not sure… If that would be true why not the iPhone mirroring…?
@@zollotech It is in the update... but it is sort of hidden and needs to be pinned. Select edit in the health app. Then scroll all the way down to Respiratory. There you will find sleep apnea. Select it to pin to your list. :)
Hi Aron.. I noticed Spotlight being a little buggy on iOS 18.. it stutters and is slower than before due to that.. the search bar appears at the bottom first and then moves up with a stutter.. Is this something you face too?
hey Aaron Apple iPhone SE I'm having trouble with additional voices besides the one I'm always using when I tried to switch the voice over it made weird noises and I couldn't fix it I had had decided for person fix it hopefully that will be resolved in future update can you check out that in your next video please as a blind user I have to have a voiceover
There is a vpn bug when you start vpn from app and then later close the app .. open app again and close vpn.. the vpn icon on control panel doesn’t disappear. I will stay there until reset.

Yeah my 16 pro max doesn’t show pro res at SDR and I’m on normal IOS 18. My
Macro mode also freezes at 4k 30 fps with pro res off

iOS 18.1 Beta 5 is for devs, Public Beta 1 is the latest for Public Beta Testers. Expect Beta 2 soon.
