@@BrandonButch Lol! Even cooler is how the depth of the song changes when you zoom in. Also, when zooming in the slider changes to show what zoom rate you have gone past i.e. 2 I also think videos are quicker sending via WhatsApp but that might just be my internet connection.

Today is my brother’s birthday, and I used the new schedule send feature to send him happy birthday at 5 AM this morning, which makes this feature introduction very fitting.
As someone who used to use Android, I’m not one for customization anymore and unless you’ve made the switch like me before you’ll probably not know what I mean. I like the elegance of iOS. At least they’re doing customization the “Apple way” and not going crazy.
Current android user. Am thinking of switching to iPhone next. Maybe for iPhone 17. Apple is slowly implementing all of the Android features that I loved and kept me in, so now I don't see much of a reason to stay with android. Especially with samsung which is going the apple route- not innovating enough and keeping prices high.
Yeah, I got over that when there wasn’t even that much to customize. Made the switch a few months before the iPhone 5 was released and I haven’t looked back since. My androids always had battery problems and crashed unexpectedly. So I gave up the “cool” features iPhone didn’t have at the time for the reliability I didn’t have with android. I had my iPhone 4s for several years even though I upgraded because I wanted the 6s. Used it as an iPod for a couple more years and then gifted it. I had never been able to pass down a phone before that.

This is the first iOS beta in last 2 years with not too much bugs and problem with battery, it’s pretty stable. I’m not on iOS yet, waiting for beta 3 but I searched on internet about this update and people are happy about it
I didn't like the tinted icons design not feature. It's super good. However maybe an option for changing the app background color or just the background and the icons remains in white. Cuz they will probably look bad on top of light wallpaper. Also there should be option to use color codes to find accurate color.
Happy to see that they are learning from the Jailbreak community. I didn’t watch the Apple event but I can imagine they must have been very proud of something that you could do since 2015
I done it on my personal device, iPhone 15 pro max running pretty smooth, battery life is still good. Go for it I reckon just make sure your phone is backed up just in case.

I like some of the changes, but omg I hate so many things about the Photos app! I just want a simple photos app, not a whole freaking production of movies and slideshows on the same page as my photos. Also why does it look like the instagram dm photos, with the rounded corners and it not filling up the whole screen? It’s just so stupid! 😭

Why, oh why, will they not update the gallery so I can have just camera pictures in their own album, and pictures I've downloaded from the web or other apps in their own albums?
It's a small fix but they finally fixed the calculator app to show all the numbers on the screen, especially when you're dealing with alot of numbers and sometimes you forget what your putting when adding. I had to download a third party calculator app because it was so annoying. And I hate math but this is a huge help
I think the button press animations are probably to prep for iPhone 16 to indicate button presses if the haptic motor is not working or if you have it turned off on low power mode. Tbh I think it 100% means that at the very least on the pro 16s you’ll get virtual, pressure based buttons. They’ll probably add some functionality for force presses like in the iPhone 6s and above on the home button.

Just to add to the health app modifications in 18, I use it to track the medications I use daily. I take meds at two different times a day. Usually when I've taken the meds in the morning, the bubble for the day would be solid. I notice now, after taking the morning meds, the day bubble is only partially solid. When I take my evening meds, the bubble for the day is completely solid. Minor but something I noticed.
I downloaded it yesterday the second it was available and I have been loving it so far, the control center is so much better now and I love how we can click on an app icon and choose a widget right from there. Apple Music still don’t do the full screen color or animation when playing a song for me or the blurred background.
The calculator is ground breaking you can convert anything!! Like speed kilometres per hour to feet per second or Celsius temperature to Fahrenheit or AUD to EURO for currency it’s insane

One small thing with the flashlight I found cool, it fades away subtly instead of turning straight off.
