Best Car I have owned. 15 Eco Premium. Even with the appearance mods and tune I am still under what a GT would cost. Yes, the rumble of the V8 gets me going, but when I was on a scenic cruise for the Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup the guy driving a super snake told me he had to get some gas as he only gets about 12-13mpg, I laughed as I only used a little over a quarter tank in the same distance as I was getting 26mpg.
I used to think the I4/V6 version of a muscle car was the girls version. I still do. But don't think of it as a sibling battle, but as a "what car do I want that will get me into 1/4 mile time I want to be in". Let's face it, not everyone wants a 12 sec car or a 16 sec car. So really, the Ecoboost isn't competing with the GT but other cars in that speed range.
The GT is a better car. It’s worth the extra money. With that said, there’s nothing wrong with buying a ecoboost mustang. I had a F150 ecoboost. It was quick but it’s not the same as the V8 . I’ve had two Mustang GT . It’s not about how fast the two are, it’s about how the vehicle makes you feel. I smiles every single time that I started my 5.0 mustangs. That rumble of the engine and sound from the exhaust cannot be measured in dollars. My wife is planning to buy a ecoboost mustang for her next vehicle . I say to each their own.
I drove an 18 ecoboost with the 10 speed. It was nice, but I gotta have the v8 sound. I have a 21 GT California and love it. My last Mustang was a 2008 GT and I would rather have that over the ecoboost.
I really hope one day ill be in a GT. If your looking for a better daily its the ecoboost, but if you really want some fun out of the car then its the GT
We have the same color car plus I also have carbon fiber on the steering wheel around the corvette emblem, how cool! The ecoboost is pretty fast, I test drove a couple when they first came out, the haters are just jerks!
I have owned an EB, and HPP, and a GT. The EB is average. The HPP is pretty good for its handling, and the HPP torque curve is flatter than the basic EB, but it’s still not as good as the GT. The GT is the quintessential Mustang. Sorry.
I had a eco boost loved it, then got a 5.0 but if I'm being honest if your thinking about upgrading to a 5.0 don't. Go german like a m340i or m240i you will love it.

It’s massive. I’ve never once felt comfortable holding WOT in my GT on a public highway. I’ve done it before in my EB HPP and it was quick, but not nearly as impressive.

Gayest comment ever made in the comment section. Cars are smiles per gallon not miles per gallon. Gay as hell
I had a 15 Eco Premium too, was awesome! Now I have 21 Eco Premium High Performance Pack. 330 HP, 19 inch wheels and Brembo Brakes, so much fun!
But he’s in a Super Snake and youre still in an Ecoboost…
@@bigmikecastleI had a 20 HPP/HP. It was a great little car, but it still isn’t a match for my 22 GT.

If you're already spending money on upgrades, the GT will always be better. The coyote can handle around 750hp on stock internals, maybe even more.
I don't know about the difference in Mustangs driving performance differences. But the Camaro V8 in the latest generation is worth it.
I really hope one day ill be in a GT. If your looking for a better daily its the ecoboost, but if you really want some fun out of the car then its the GT
The EB is fun too, especially in the mountains where I live.
I'll never buy a car this guy sells, probably floors it and abuses the car.
I know the 10 speed Eco's are pretty fast.. That 10 speed makes up for lack of power big time. Those 10 speeds are always in their power band..

Wow that looks freaking beautiful on your C8. Great choice!!!

That’s what I’ve been saying to all v8 owners you have to try the Ecoboost to really enjoy it 🎉

BMWs aren't that reliable and are harder to maintain. I personally won't.

I do not, only mods are a tune and blow off valve

Don’t worry one day you’ll be able to get a V8
It sounds like a focus. Reason enough to buy a V8.
