- President Biden sent a defiant letter to Congressional Democrats on Monday refusing to step down as the party’s nominee amid widespread criticism of his poor debate performance against Trump.
“I wouldn’t be running again if I did not absolutely believe I was the best person to defeat Donald Trump in 2024.”
