I couldn't agree more. She said it all. AndI love the fact that she believes women can or can't shave or wax. Tbh I do it just because I am not enough confident to face society with facial ect. Society teaches a way to not end up single, lonely and unfulfilled. One of these things is looking good.
Women looking good means no body/facial hair, and not being fat. Also make-up I guess.

Excessive facial hair on women isn't natural or normal, it's a symptom to something going on in their body, so it sounds weird to state "true self", that's like calling hives part of one's true self when it's just a symptom of something and not supposed to be there on the skin.... It really boils down to ignoring medical problems and avoiding grooming. If women like her feel lonely and avoided, it's because of themselves, they choose to walk around looking A-typical, so of course people treat them like they are.

I pluck my facial hair and i've never been one to follow trends or give 2 rodent's butts what society thinks about or thinks is popular, my choice to do it isn't motivated by what other deem acceptable or normal, i do it because i don't like it nor do i see it as a normal or attractive thing to have.

Watching the exact opposite video now, I'm so pleasantly surprised that there are such bold women who could explain to the world that this much hair is the average for many women.
Middle school was hell for me because of this. I didn’t shave my upper lip and chin because I didn’t care, I was a kid but I was bullied for having facial hair. I didn’t like how it looked and I was insecure, but I didn’t have access to a razor so I couldn’t do anything. It sucked.

We're all happier being the person we feel comfortable with, however, don't be upset when you get looks, or find that people have a difficult time seeing past the physical, long enough to see what's beneath, physical beauty is the invitation to learn more, the magnetic attraction that opens time for everything else that's more important. There's nothing shallow about it, it's as natural as your unibrow! We're attracted to a physical concept of beauty imprinted on us through our impressionable years as children, then reinforced throughout puberty as we sought out those traits in potential mates. This isn't something that changes overnight, it's a chemical response, a very real "code" and has nothing to do with conscious thought once we're adults. Our idea of beauty, and what we're attracted to changes through time, and experience, but it takes quite a while, usually involving meaningful encounters, opportunity to experience something we normally wouldn't, and for an unfortunate lot, their individual need to adhere to peer norms, but usually it's an experience powerful enough to override our chemical code. It sucks, but it's the reality we live in, and that's not going to change anytime soon. Like religion, everyone should feel inclined to walk their own path, but don't expect others to understand, or belittle them when they don't accept it as something they're comfortable with. Maybe It helps to remember that all of this mess, exists for only one reason in the first place, for reproduction on a baser level, but we want it to be so much more. In a way we're trying to force evolution, by placing relatively unreasonable expectations on our natural function. The fact that we can find so much more in each other is already pretty damn amazing! Think about it, most people, given the choice would definitely get rid our expectations, it's just not an effective use of energy, or effort when we're so busy surviving, or even possible for many people, but if we could, would absolutely open up a world of options to us all! That would be a happy storybook world, wouldn't it? :) Maybe it will exist some day, but we'd be lying to ourselves to say it's now.

my facial hair was kinda like yours when i was younger, only difference is that i dont have much of a unibrow. i didnt care too much even though people would tell me to pluck or shave, it didnt bother me and i didnt feel ugly. i guess because it was not that noticeable, people didnt harass me about it or anything.
but then pcos came and i started having chin hair, and it's hard to not care when people think youre disgusting because of it :(

Well, i think it's about beauty and likes or dislikes. She doesn't have to brush her hair, but she does it. As a man, I don't shave my armpits, but my brother says that it's ugly, but i don't care. What is normal or usual doesn't necessarily should be shown. For expaple having sex is normal, but people don't do it on public, they hide it. Taking care of your own body can be sort of creativity and symbolism of love to your self and people around you. Sometimes we need to weigh the pros and cons - should we defend our individuality in all the aspects by spending our RAM on it, or is it easier to accept some things and think about something more important.

Actually if you think about how crazy it is to think you have the right to comment on the appearance of a total stranger, she totally makes sense. I've always been a D student in school. So I've focused on my appearance more. I've got no intelligence to flaunt like she does.
