@@melhayes204 the sound isn’t what I dislike about them. It’s everything else. The angle of the pitch in the monitor format. It’s too high and tends to shoot over their heads. I also prefer a smaller format that doesn’t take up as much space on the stage. For most of my shows I use the EV PXM12MP. Smaller format with big sound, great for side fills, takes up less space in the van 🚐, less space on the stage and the angle is perfect.
The buzzing is your computer cable. Use a DI and ground the input.
It was actually the jack on the wall having a broken ground. We moved the stage box to the stage and ditched all the old analog runs
@@easyasabc8156If you moved the Rio to the stage, you should look at splitting the monitors into separate mixes.
Nice console, terrible wedges. Not a fan of those QSC K12’s. Hopefully things went well.
I found out they are actually K10s after setting them up. The microphone and monitor placements aren't idea, but everything worked in the end.
Very curious to know why you are not a fan of the QSCs. I've played many gigs and my clients love them.

@@lmars oh you don't like them as monitors. I gotcha. I use them for P.A mainly. Ill check out those EVs.
