Hey man, love the vids. Got a suggestion: Name a few top-players at the end of the video for that particular character. That way, people can gain more insight as to how the character can be played, etc.
It's not the 5 button layout but more the ability to press any combination of buttons possible. For example pressing 6P+H to option select a throw with 6P or a j.P in the air.
Ask in dustloop. I haven't used a pad for Guilty Gear in like 10 years. Take into account that the game is going to be EASIER on a stick because it was designed for it.
When I play(ed) pad, I bind P to square, K to X, and S to circle on the front, leaving triangle empty. Then I put H on R2 and D on R1. I always put a PKS macro on L1 for RC, like the scrub I am, but this isn't really necessary. This let's you press PK for FD, H+various for throw option selects, RC and slashback, The only inconvenient combination is K+S, which is never needed anyways. I know another player who uses triangle instead of cross, and I play Zappa if that means anything.

I am a beginner in the game Millia and I have a problem with the combo. when I push the air in the sequence j.D attack the opponent after hitting flies far and no way I can continue the combo how others do it with no problem ...
In order to continue you have to jump cancel the j.D then air dash. Tap up forward after your j.D to get the jump. Since the forward part of the jump counts as a forward tap, just tap forward, or up forward again to get the air dash. Good luck!
hey im having trouble directing the bubble for secret garden. I can only seem to get 2 or 3 directions max. Do i need to put the stick back into neutral every time i want to enter a direction for it to travel?
Can you not ADC her air normals in Reload? I can ADC her hair pin projectile just fine but I don't know if you can with her air normals. Either you can't or I'm awful at ADC's.
Any advice for a pad Millia player especially in terms of layout? i struggled a lot doing stuff with her in the past, especially in terms of reliably pulling off setups
n00b here, what makes okizeme so important in GG to the point it's mentioned in every opportunity? I'm assuming that forcing your opponent to block raises the block gauge which's bad for them but I wonder if I'm missing anything
Oki essentially limits your opponent's options on wakeup, forcing them to either block, backdash, or throw out a reversal/DP move, all of which can be punished and pressured. Essentially it forces the other player to keep guessing as to what you'll do and try to find ways to escape, which you can then capitalise on if you know what you're doing
