In my experience Bridget is one of the most difficult characters if you are a beginner, because of choice paralysis. With most other character it is kind of obvious on how to get effective offense started, while with Bridged it is not obvious at all on where to send your yoyo and you need to plan further ahead than normal.
I picked up strive a couple months back because of bridget, and now I find myself doing the same thing for AC+R. After a couple frustrating matches, this video really helped reassure me that I was picking the right character. Thanks a bunch!

Hello, I just got Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus on the PS2 and I was wondering where the game fits in with the likes of raw Accent Core and AC+R. Does it feature rebalances from AC? Is it competitively balanced/viable? Like, what's your general opinion on it?
I really have been thinking of getting +R from the japanese PSN but have been holding off because I feel like when i buy it itll come out on American PSN right after I do. Should have just bought it when it came out instead of buying Gundam EXVS suits -_-

Is this a joke? This version of the character has a literal gender symbol on his head. I can understand changing her pronouns on the strive page, given the new lore.
Before Strive Bridget was considered a man by the community and characters in the game. Pretty sure she reiterates that she’s a man several times in this game’s story mode when confused for a woman, so that’s why you won’t see anyone referring to her as a woman before Strive came out.
