The Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars and the Wicked Spoon at Cosmopolitan are my two favorites!
Derek, I watch a lot of your videos. One thing I'd like to recommend when you go to these places is to state the day of the week and time of day you go. This looks like a brunch buffet. In some of your videos you mention details, but not always. Even if you put it in the description of the video, it's helpful.
I booked a room for the Canelo fight weekend and i super excited about it but I dont know if the buffet is free.

This was really instrumental in helping us decide where not to eat. Within a streamlined budget, I'd rather eat once in a great place than 2-3 times in a "budget" buffet. All respect to Luxor, but thanks again for another cool episode! :)

I love the Luxor buffet it’s great for the price. The Aria buffet however is the best just simply amazing and worth the price!

I remember trying this one a few years ago and being very underwhelmed by it. My friend doesn’t even remember eating there, that’s how much of an impression it made!!! Doesn’t look like much has changed...but loved the vid as always!!

Grew up in the 70s. There were no going out to eat. Times were tough. So I enjoy Luxor and all other buffet on the strip.

2. That certain something you were in search of might have been the biscuits and gravy; you know, the gravy you put on the chicken-fried "steak."

I have been to Vegas numerous times and one place I always go is to T&T in Luxor and have the #1 steak & bacon taco, which they say is the best in Vegas. The service is poor but the taco is always fantastic. Otherwise yes Grand Lux is really good and Patisserie has the best sweets in Vegas.

Thanks! The new buffet at the Palms is a wonderful experience for a staggeringly low price. Stay away from anything right on the Strip if you're on a budget!

We stay at the luxor all the time. We eat at the Buffet at Luxor all the time
Maybe because we get comped but the food is.always good. The breakfast is ok. Lunch , dinner, and brunch are awesome. Keep making these great videos

I stayed there for 3 nights 2 weeks ago. The buffet is not impressive like the $40 to $59 per person buffets at other hotels, but when you compare a combo meal at the other resturants at the hotel cost $20, the buffet here (lunch / brunch) only $22. Not bad deal and food was good and the desert station was as good as any buffet I have ever gone to. (My fav. in Vegas is at the Wynn, but you pay double so you have to eat a Lot to make it worth while). LUXOR is my favorite, friendly hotel on the strip with great prices for rooms, and kind staff. The best of the M Life I have tried so far. (I go about 2 - 3 times per year, every year).
Always love the price you shown at the time of filming. A good reference other youtubers don't always show.

Ate there last week. Food was ok for the $$ but I kept getting lost trying to find my table while walking back from buffet. That place is a freaking maze!

I love corned beef hash. With toast. Try it on biscuits and gravey. It's so good you will look for it on the next buffet.

Another great video Derek! I am going back to Vegas in June and I might try this buffet. The food looked ok but I like the Egyptian theme and how it was kind of dark. I want to try one of those pitas in a drawer and eat some Hawaiian Freeze dessert. Aloha!

Save your money this place is horrible was there yesterday nothing is good nothing pop is even water down and flat so I basically paid for cranberry juice

Food looks good for a Sunday brunch,have not been to Vegas since 2007 the buffets we ate at were all good,keep up the good work,makes me want to go and eat there but 1500 miles away is a long way just to go and eat,who knows one of these days wife and i might make it back to Vegas for a week.

I stayed at the Luxor in 2013 and it was nice but their Buffet - TWO THUMBS DOWN !! The food was literally on the same level as a High School Cafeteria. The BEST Buffet = MGM GRAND.....right across the street

Always carry a little bottle of hand sanitizer and use it when you get back to your table. It always grosses me out knowing that hundreds of people have touched the serving utensils. 😨😷
I never think of think of things like that. It amazes me how different we all are.
Also, always bring a paper napkin with you to the buffet. You will use clean plates for every course. However, your utensils will be reused and you do not want them lying on the filthy table then going into your mouth. I place my utensils on the paper napkin while I am getting my next plate of food.
I never thought about that, but yes you are probably right. But, I have never been sick. I also have a high tolerance for germs or illnesses. I feel the less ‘germaphobe’ you are, the higher your tolerance becomes...live a little
JOK~I have a friend who is a major germaphobe. She always have hand sanitizer, doesn't pee in the shower as she feels that is gross, feels that a over-ripe banana with brown bruise on them gross, yet she fucking eats ass and licks her boyfriend's asshole.
Explain that logic to me.
I took a friend to a buffet and he kept licking his fingers and would go up to get more plates. I was absolutely grossed out. I called him on it. He said licking his fingers is a compliment to the chef 😨. So moral of the story I agree.
We're staying at either the Excalibur or the Luxor in February. I got suckered into one of those "bounce back" pitches from Time Share sellers when I was there last March. While not a bad deal, I won't be doing it again, and I won't be doing Time Share. Going to be there 4 days, so I'm plotting out our meal planning. I was considering the $40 all day wristband for both of us for one day to eat at both locations. Not sure anymore. We are doing the myVegas slots game and accumulating reward points that we might get some discounts on food. That's about the only way I'm eating there I think.

It's not that great. Recently was there and it was 24.95 per person and it was not worth it. I've had better buffets at Hibachi for 12.99. The place was freezing and you had to rush your food down before it froze. Chicken was small roast beef too rare, turkey was too salty, just was not worth the price. They want you to tip when you first pay, but the waiter looked at me as if I should tip him. Now I'm questioning if the waiters get the tip when you pay or is that for the hotel.

Maybe you weren't thinking, but isn't it bad form to handle food at a buffet that others are expected to eat? Bananas and oranges get peeled so that's OK I guess, but if you fondle an apple (9:49), you should probably just take it and eat it yourself instead of putting it back. Other than that, great videos.
Well said. I went to Vegas first in 94. Those properties were the new Vegas that I loathed. I was infatuated with old Vegas. Now those properties are old Vegas.

The Insane Chef .... should have seen it in 1979 Really classy. I went a few months ago and couldn’t believe how dumpy everything looked. When I saw the CVS pharmacy right in the middle of everything I got pissed. Won’t be going back.
