I think they are setting up a new animated series that will follow Rex, Wolf, and Gregor from the end of Bad Batch to the time they show up in Rebels as older men.

@@laneybyers Oh ok good! I hate accidentally spoiling things. He was a part of the heist Cassian was hired for, and he got crushed by a literal TON of credits. He also wrote the manifesto Cassian was listening to in finale.
RIP Nemec, I think they’re gonna stop the cloning or at least think they did. That’s why Rex doesn’t mention it in rebels

RIP Nemmec. You and I are at the same mind. I think it’s gonna be Crosshair, Omega and Batcher in the end. I predict they are gonna join Quinlan Voss, and Asajj Ventress and join the hidden path. I’d like to think that any remaining clones might join the hidden path, but maybe there’s too much bad history between the clones and the Jedi.
But getting back to the immediate story, I’m all nervous about this idea of “activating” shadow clones. I hope Hemlock doesn’t flip a switch and “activate” Crosshair like the winter soldier, whereas he thought he couldn’t be conditioned! Maybe that’s what identity crisis will be about; Crosshair fighting the himself and the impulses sent by Hemlock. Maybe that’s why he has the shakes. If so I hope in the end he fights it off and wins, and doesn’t come to plan 99 on his part.

Another great reaction laney. When i saw the wolf patterns in the helmet i thought the build up to star wars rebels has begun. Rex and the clones again were great

Way more likely to be Tech IMO. No offence to Cody but he wouldn't be nearly as big a reveal.
Also, Rex is the frikkin' best - I like seeing him be badass but I _love_ seeing his humanity and just fundamental decency being his true superpower.
(and yep, RIP Nemec - maybe not an OG CT but I still didn't like seeing him go)

I've seen a few people mention that they think it is Tech that is the shadow.
I do not think it is.
What crosshair said, they tried to make him one but the mutations made it not work.
So why should it work with Tech? He is also mutated. Therfor it needs to be a reg, right?
Cody is a possibility. But if it was Cody, why didn't they have Rex vs shadow fight? That would have been better, imo. If it was Cody.
