The one line that I would have changed was from Crosshair. “Loyalty meant something to me.”
It should be, “Loyalty means something to me. I thought I would have that with the Empire. Instead, I had that with Omega.” unless it is no longer something means to him.
I think the operative is a crosshair clone, or maybe even the original crosshair. They have similar speaking patterns, tactics, and weapon. I hope I’m wrong because I want it to be tech. Plus Howzer did mention he “seems different .”
Not sure if you've watched Rebels, but to see Wolf still working for the Empire not a shock.

I'm pretty sure that operative is Cody.
I truly hope The Operative is not just "reprogrammed" Tech. For 3 reasons:
1. How many times passed since we lost him? Doesn't seem like more than a couple weeks. Would Empire be efficient enough in reprogramming him AND training him, giving him new skills on such high level in such a short time? Seems unlikely to me.
2. As Sonny said, there are too many dead characters who suddenly reappear. Let's not add another one to the list and make his sacrifice shallow. Let him rest.
3. We just went through the whole "our friend is now our enemy" trope with Crosshair. Repeating it with Tech just doesn't make much sense to me.
I think, and so do many others, that the shadow operative is either a clone of CrossHairs or… maybe Cody. Personally, because of how the operative performed that he’s a clone of CrossHairs. Either way it’s really a terrible way for a clone to end up. Also I think this episode also showed us the first step in the turning point for Wolf, and much of the other clone who were with him too.
well, some of these clones or shadows, became the first dark troopers type 0 s with cyborg technology like Darth Vader aka Anakin.
