This is actually a fukuro obi, there is also other types as the nagoya obi, they're different in formality but not in age, as the furisode kimono for example. Furisode is only for unmarried woman. Also you can see a difference in the way they tie the obiage, when you are single it shows more, but when you're married is hidden under the obi. I hope this helps.
@@Derthlin True, once married my obiage tucked in deeper and less showed, no more layered obiage on top and bottom of my obi. Now it's just one obiage, tucked in. My colors are softer and muted, reflecting a married lady. No more loud color long sleeves for me! I want to rock the sparrow knot next hatsume fair with my new fukuro obi, muted blue and soft purple, rose pink skies over of mt fuji. I can still wear the sparrow knot, depending on where I'm going. Last time I wore Fukura-suzume musubi (this bird sparrow knot) was at my wedding, with a gold and silver leaf obi, very formal.
