Great video again, Billy! It answered so many questions for me about how to use my different Obi in various situations so that my kimono outfits look better adapted to my non-Japanese environment. I get complements and admiration which I did not expect but now with this new knowledge I will be even more confident. Thank you!!!

I just recently found your videos... You are priceless!😁😍 Can you please tell about kimonos for children? And I have seen unusual photos where a mother holds a baby wrapped in a very beautiful large kimono. I really want to know about this tradition)) (maybe I just haven't seen your video on this topic yet:))

I don’t have children if my own, so at the moment it’s not a topic that is relevant in my life. There won’t be a video on it any soon. But I did talk about it in an workshop on my Patreon page.

Have you considered a self started store where you make obi and kimono supplies? It's so expensive for small things like clips.. shipping one set to the USA is about 30-50 USD. You could probably do a lot for many people by offering homemade kimono supplies.

Can I get some help 😭 I bought an obi belt before watching your videos and now it’s super wrinkled and unable to lay properly when worn. How can I save it/ press it out? I don’t want to assume the answer is as simple as ironing it, because I really want to take care of it and not destroy it. Help 😭😭😭

Hello Ms Matsunaga. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I have two alteration problems. 1. I need to lengthen a 裄 on a men's kimono I bought. I know you have long arms and must come across the same situation. The kimono is lined, so I am not sure how much margin it has where the sleeves are connected to the body. Do you have any instructions / advice for me? 2. I need to lengthen the 着丈 of a men's yukata. I thought I would let out some of the 内揚, but the 衽 does have one. Is there not solution?

I have a used tomesode kimono I was hoping I could style in a less formal way, perhaps with a maru obi in a more casual knot as well. I know that wearing kimono with high necked, frilly collars is popular, lace sleeves peaking out, doc martins for shoes. Is there a way to wear a tomesode a bit more casual or modern?

Hi, I would like to ask how do you think about 二部式着物? Do you think it’s too much of a cheat? I have a 仮想衣装Collections book and a 手作リCOS!1 book which both feature 二部式着物 and I’m wondering if it’s acceptable to wear.

I will be watching ALL your videos and hope to find out, but just in case it's not mentioned, you have another obi, almost an under-obi. I've seen it on other channels too. What is it? What is it called? Is it something I can perhaps make myself? (this interest/passion is getting very expensive)

Hi Billy! Could you possibly make a video of how to fix your kimono when it shifts around? I mean if you are outside and cant take your kimono off and redo it like at a festival or something :) Sometimes my kimono shifts if I have to sit in a chair and my legs become exposed and I am not sure how to fix this without redoing the whole thing...so embarrassing!
