While I know that I myself don't have the skills to beat this Extra Stage were I to challenge it, it strikes me as pretty... easy, as far as Extra Stages go. Still, I can't help but really like it. It looks and feels like an idol is trying to bedazzle the player to death.
Was just about to say, that the nonspells could have had more fantasy. They were very boring after the 4th one. I'd say the first 3 is ok, I can see similar concepts for other bosses (like Mokou's rings or Miko's first 3 nonspells) but after it, there could have been something different.

I've heard the game has trouble with FPS.
The reason it's slow is that Danmakufu interprets everything in real time rather than compiling and calculating/loading some stuff ahead of time. It doesn't know what it needs before it gets it, which slows it down a lot.

But, unlike most Touhou-related things, Damakufu is free. At least, I'm mostly sure. Touhou Wikia has a link to download, so I can't be sure. It should be easy to obtain.

Sorry to burst your bubble but the "game" is a just a bunch of pictures. But there are the main characters' scenario and speech texts, plus character information, so you could just persuade someone to make the game in Danmakufu.
