The spell cards on this particular boss were very creative. I wouldn't say every single spell was but most of them were. I like that.

@TheCarrShow Basically the black circles are bullets, and the white ones are clear spaces. From time to time she makes the square you're in a white circle. If other whites are two squares apart from you, any blacks between turn white, providing space to dodge.
Apparently there is some awkward mechanic that doesn't allow some blacks to turn white if they're at different directions next to you; it's rather complicated, yet not that hard once you get the hang of it.

Man, there are plenty of extremely creative spells in both of these stages so far. And I guess the music loop at 13:16 went as intended in this stage.

for some reason marine benefit randomly freezes for a split second, then goes back. it keeps doing this and it makes it hard to dodge. is anyone else having this problem, and does anyone know how to get rid of this?
I actually don't think it takes all that much math to make bullet patterns. If he can pull off those rotating gear spellcards I think he knows enough math to do whatever he needs to. Rather, I would say the wanky difficulty and fairness is due to the fact that he tried too hard to make original spellcards. It's hard to have a totally unique spellcard and he seems to have experimented a bit too much with new ideas.
And here I thought Koishi's spells were bizarre...

It is, but the actual game's name is Reversi
It gives me the impression that, lacking mathematical skills to make complicated patterns, the creator just made simple ones and hardened it by adding unusual traits. It gives a graphically nice result, but the difficulty is pretty low, and the hard ones are so just because of the traits more than the danmaku itself...
Even so, the Othello Spell Card is really awesome xD
@KokoTehWitch I know this is late, but no, the maker made it with mixed parts of the themes of the crazy ex bosses, Flandre, Koishi, and of course, Nue.

They are playing Reversi/Othello.
Every time she charges, a white token is placed on the field. Then it checks if there are Black Tokens in any diagonal, vertical and horizontal (think of the Queen in chess) that connects to other White Token.
If so, the Black Tokens are changed to White Tokens.
Black Tokens cannot be passed through, White Tokens can.
Is it me, or does Marisa's shottype C make the most sense out of all of them?
(I mean, it basically IS Reimu's Type C from SA, but still.)
Is this the fanmade game? Or it really is made by ZUN ? The sound effect and the background doesnt look like the other touhou game that ZUN made. And its not so hard as touhou imperishable night
